Pinning Quads

ad

Guys I have a question? I had a bad experience pinning quads:( It seems like it is kind of hit and miss. I have had a few bad experiences with this a few times I hit a nerve or something and about threw me out of my chair. I FEAR PINNING QUADS ITS LIKE A UNCERTAIN DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN:( ANY SUGGESTIONS ON LOCATION AND SIZE OF SHARP TO MAKE EXPERIENCE MUCH MORE TOLERABLE AND LESS UNCERTAINTY. Any input would be much appreciated and highly noted and considered? Thanks for input Smile

go along the vastus lateralus anywhere really. and use a 25g 1 inch. Shouldn't have an issue. The lower you go you might have better luck. If you are lower BF then seeing the muscle shouldn't be an issue.

Hitting a nerve or something else is going to happen. Just either keep going, or stop and pin. You do not need to have the whole pin in to plunge, just make sure you are in the muscle. Sometimes I will get pain, or some resistance or it is hard to plunge, just happens sometimes.

Go high and to the outside come in at an angle. I think when guys run into trouble with this most are going too low on the leg. 1" x 25G

I agree. It seems to me that the higher you go the better.

I usually use 1" 25gage pins. But pinning up in the quads, for me, is the one place I always hate going into.

I prefer the Glutes or the Delts.

But if the Quads is a must for you, because you're pinning a particular juice into the muscle you're about to work out, then there are loads of different websites out there giving exceptional pictorial advice on how to inject into a certain muscle. You just need to search for it, Mate.

GPZ Services, one of the top Sources on Eroids for Pins and Barrels, also have their own pinning advice website that I'm POSITIVE you will want to check out:

If you go onto YouTube you can even find videos giving advice too.

Just trying to help, Mate

Not sure why this shit's always gotta be made so fucking complicated. Just stick the needle in your leg. If you hit a nerve, don't push it in anymore and pin it right there. Problem solved.

center of leg, measure 4 inches above knee cap, then 2 inches to the right(for right leg). once you got your spot sit down on something that you can scoot all the way back on until the back side of your knee is supported and your foot is no longer holding your leg up(this is so you dont flex your leg and it is totally relaxed). pin away!

tht has nothing to do with his question... he asked about guage and where to hit on quads...

I gotcha. I never heat my oil abs im always fine. but others swear by heating it. heating made no difference to me. tried once an never again.but I guess it depends on the gear also. if u got some veyron. im sure ud wana heat that!!

vvvv both are right. I use 25g an basically hit quads the whole time besides a few.days on a ten week prop cycle. further outside I felt was less chance of.hitting a nerve. I push real slow and I can feel it if im getting close to one. trust me tht feeling sucks an its kinda weird but def try 25g an hit further outside.
