Pinned Ventro for the first time. (I hope) :)

ad

Thanks Rustyhooker and Withdrawl for pointing me in the right direction.

Over my memorial weekend some shit happened and I ended up rolling with a friend on a 1400 mile (one way) trip to pick up his bike and repo another. It took us 48 hours to complete the round trip. I had to pin Sunday morning just before daylight in the delt whilst flying down the highway in the dark, so that was fun, lol. So far my delts don't seem to mind the testP nowhere near as much as the quads do. When I got home yesterday I basically ate , showered and crashed for 12 hours. I haven't slept that hard in a long time.

So anyway, I followed rusty and withdrawls advice this morning and pinned the Ventro. Of course I lined up the shot and started sweating profusely as usual when I pin a new spot lol, but it was painless (so far). Thanks again fella's.

Well, it is now a day and a half later and as today went on I can feel a bit of PIP. It feels almost like it is in my hip joint, not terrible mind you but some PIP none the less. It is entirely possible I was not right on the spot. I can live with it tho and will continue to use the ventro. Tomorrow when I do the left I will be a little more confident so it should go better.

That is kind of what I thought. You just hear so many talk of it being painless, so that had me wondering. It is a painless injection without a doubt. I tell ya, TestP is weird. One spot no pain the next one BANG! Due to the holiday weekend today is leg day, I think I am good to go..

some people just get pain from test prop, it's the way people react to the chemical.
You can keep trying and see if your body eventually get's used to it. Maybe try a different brand next time with a different carrier oil

Check it out, I was just out of the shower and standing sideways to the mirror I found if you flex it a little with the weight shifting and then thrust forward like you were at the top of a deadlift it stands right out. Clear as day. Hope this helps everyone.

Trap injection was a nightmare . 23 g 1,inch with 2cc and my trap looked like a baseball .

I need a new spot. Done tri's and quads. Won't do either again. I've attempted the ventro but punked out at the last minute when I envisioned hitting the bone. I'll have to hit one of those guys up.

biceps, delts and chest are all pretty easy!

I'm doing it solo. I'll look for a diagram or illustration. It bugs me out that the hip is so close.

I punked out and never tried again. I'll have to soon. I'm down to 3 spots with the abscess I had last month.

I pretty much bottomed out a 25g 1.5" without touching anything that I could feel.

Nitti, I searched around the web a little this morning too and found another good thread with a few pics on T-nation. I could link it if you like, (not sure on the rules)

Just do it man. I had the exact same feelings as you. I must have finger marked the spot 6-7 times , stood up, sat down a bunch and then just finally stood and plunged..

Post just the link here.

pecs?

Nitti's picture

I have a 27x1/2" and 25x5/8" for the pecs. Haven't tried yet. I have enough muscle there. What do I start with 1/2ml?

Pale's picture

I was all about trying pecs with E, but not sure about trying them with P on virgin muscle. Any thoughts?

Trust your instincts.. Lol

The easiest spot in my opinion. I stopped pinning quads due to the pip; everywhere else I can deal with it. I'm starting prop for the first time next week.
