OK I just gotta know...what's the big deal? I mean it's a bad idea to say i paid with xxx at this time from this location for this amount, but to just say what u used..seems harmless to me. I mean, you can go to the source's websites or even their supplier intro page and it openly says what they take as payment...so what's the harm?

I just figured I dont run this site, and those are the rules. I mean I have mad respect for the people who run the site and I dont have a need to question the rules they feel confortable with. I mean really it boils down to that.

A point in case, in the past few days somebody mentioned method of payment even when the src specifically tells purchasers not to mention the method of payment. Some methods of taking money are not allowed when gear or other items are involved.
Disclosing the method could compromise the vendors ability to take funds. And if he don't get his money we don't get our gear.
If 100 people a day are sending source XX a payment useing YYY, and the police have narrowed down XX's location to a city in Ohio, a quick trip to the YYY headquarters will get them a computer printout of anyboby in Ohio that recieves more than 50 or 60 payments a day, as most steriod purchases would be between $50 and $350 and large corporations could quickly be eliminated the list would be narrowed to just a handful, even if Source XX is using 5 names to receive money under, that would still be 400 payments a month to each name (Based on a 20 day month & 5 names). Claim your selling on Ebay,.....they might ask to see you past auction list and Pxxpxl account. Even if your not the source the IRS would like to look at your books,.......because the pigs at the feeder in Washington want some more money,....(yours).
The world is not such a large place after all.
ETA: Payment system YYY would also include the pickup points and times on their print out. Any store with a video/security system would be asked for evidence, and we humans being creatures of habit, all the cops/ Feds may need to do is stand around and drink a pop and eat donuts waiting for you to come to them.

Bro, we slap it down in supplier intro too... unfortunately we can't be everywhere at once and obviously most members have a reading impediment because it's clearly stated in the rules...
I'm sure it may seem harmless enough but a harmless piece of info here and a harmless piece of info there the next thing you know the info isn't so harmless anymore...
Not to mention that Eroids is a REVIEW SITE and has NO affiliation with src's and suppliers so it's important that any (alleged) transactions need to be dealt with without even the appearance of accountability on Eroids behalf... EROIDS DOES NOT SELL STEROIDS!!
And probably most importantly how about "because we say so"... feel free to build your own site and allow (or disallow) any actions and/or behaviors YOU see fit

however, i AM gonna call you on the part about supplier intro dude...cuz i can think of a source that had all payment options listed on the supp intro page for the ENTIRE time he was on here and no one ever said anything about it..so my point is still 'somewhat' valid
Sources can disclose their payment options if they wish in their INFO tab in reviews or their Supplier thread. That info is probably also available their websites.
However, their customers are not allowed to discuss payment methods or any other personal info here (yes your payment method is considered your personal info because that can be tracked down to you, even if you don't see how).
