Oral steroid interactions with blood thinners
While I won't go into depth as to why I'm on blood thinners (warfarin) I wanted to share my experience with its interaction with 2 compounds I have takin of which both times sent me to the doctors office. I will be on warfarin the rest of my life 6-7.5 mgs daily depending on diet and lifestyle. My 1st experience was with 1-AD(Superdrol) when it was sold legally over the counter...still young and dumb I ran it solo and the gains i made were fuckin crazy but by week 3 my lower back hurt so bad I thought I had injured it while lifting and at that point I could no longer bust a nut while banging gf (clueless). I went to doc and he drew my blood(as I have to do once a month anyways so they can adjust my warfarin if need be) and he was stunned because blood was so thin my kidneys were bleeding so he gave me vitamin k shot....fast forward to May 2013 started takin D-bol to kick off my cycle and once again only 2 weeks in and lower back pumps kicked in so went to have blood drawn and blood was extremely thin no vitamin k shot was givin this time I was jus instructed to stop taking warfarin and come back In 3 days at which point I quit the dbol as well and blood thickened back up dramatically. One thing worth noting is that I went ahead with my 600mg/wk of test e and it had no noticeable effect on blood thickness throughout 22 wk cycle. While testosterone didn't seem to effect blood thickness I will probably stay clear of Equipoise. Not sure if this is the cause of back pumps in other individuals but when I start next cycle this spring I plan on kickstartimg with dbol again but will stop warfarin then have blood drawn each week for the 4 wks to see if the dbol itself causes a thinning of the blood or if it is the interaction of the two...will return to do write up afterwards...jus curious if dbol does indeed thin blood which could be root cause for lower back pumps of which extra vitamin k supplementation may eleviate some of the discomfort but will not know for sure till my spring cycle...any other input or suggestions welcome

+1!!! This is some priceless information. I had a patient develop an allergic rxn to a heparin flush bag in an arterial line. His platelets kept dropping and no one was able to make a diagnoses, other than thrombocytopenia purpura. Finally, the patient was disconnected from all drugs, IV lines, etc. Labs were drawn. It was only then, that his clinical signs and symptoms were tracked backwards to find out the root cause. I like your post, bro. And, I am sorry about your condition. I am curious to know, but, do you think reinjecting your own stem cells could make your condition better?
elecshortsSome steroids interact with warfarin to make it work better meaning thin your blood more than it usually does. The doctor looking after your warfarin needs to know about your juicing if he hasn't figured it out already.
Yep no doubt at all that dbol makes warfarin effects more dramatic. ...been on warfarin for over 15yrs so no worries jus live and learn and spread the word so that someone else may learn from my close call...doc knows whats up I'm sure as my blood test levels came back > 1500 and I'm ripped bitchin bout acne....moral of story...dbol combined w/blood thinners is bad idea
Thanx for the reply fellas...cheatn thanx for the correction on 1-AD being different than Superdrol the compound I took was from Ergopharm 1-AD remember it well cause creatine was all I had taken up to that point (highschool) and the results I got from 1-AD were dramatically different lol....but nonetheless same blood thinning effect...try to keep INR for blood between 2.5-3.5 and both times it was well over 10 thought I would bring my experience to light for any other members in same circumstance who are considering running a cycle...in my situation I can only let doc know about so much as its small town clinic wherein personal info is spread regardless but I was able to tell doc I was pretty sure what the culprit was but never told him even while he kept twisting my arm...I do full bloods twice yr and check INR (thickness) monthly...so far no other worries besides the raging backne
My father is on lifelong Coumadin and I understand quite a bit about it. My recommendation to you is fully disclose all this with your doctor. Your blood is not something you want to be messing with, especially in your case. You obviously have a medical condition serious enough to require the blood thinners. Please stay safe bro!
1-ad is 1-androstenedione a pro hormone to testosterone not Superdrol. So I'm wondering if it was caused by something else? As far as the dbol I don't know if it thins or thickens. I would imagine it raises rbc like all steroids which will thicken the blood. We're u taking anything else? Vitamins,certain foods, OTC supplements? Not doubting you just curious.
