You know guys I understand wanting to score some free gear, but some of you guys are just fucking assholes about it. Are you that broke? You know when all you do is hustle and review for free gear you are watering down the legitimacy of our whole premise for existing. You are a bought and paid for vote.
You are gaming the system. And truth is we simply don't have the time or resources to catch all of you, it just isn't possible. That said, when I do stumble across your username and happen to look it is very easy for us to see what is going on. If you have reviewed well over dozen times in a year you are a promo whore. If you have and I come across you I am going to take a big chuck of your karma since that is one of your tools to get sources on your jock.

iNarcissist. C'mon bro. You know its the sources. Gear whores aren't the problem. Certain sources will always give away free shit every single time you email and ask even with just 6 karma(from pictures-which shouldnt be allowed) and certain sources absolutely will never send you anything regardless of rank and even go post in that secret sources and mods only forum about it. Lol. And those sources pay rent here, they have ADs for their blogs here, they want to be here. So maybe BFG should tax them. The repeat offenders i mean. Ya top three got it down to a science. But i understand going after the sources (this website owners income) and pissing them off would be a bad idea. All im saying is BFG used to perma ban IP addys left and right and now he doesn't. ... if he wanted it that bad he could greatly reduce it. But honestly this site makes money whether the consumer is scammed or not.
But yeah gear whoring fake reviews is dick head thing to do but its a major part of this sites traffic.
I will say though gear whoring is different for different karma ranks. Those 6karma guys are getting like 1 vial... and those....um...1041karma guys are getting kits of hgh igf vials and whatever else they want but since you guys watch reviews and they get buried by new reviews anyways the smart high karma gear whores just constantly promote on the SI. Everyday its "wow best dbol ever" "oh man i lowerd my tren dose its so intense" like mini reviews constantly that the actual buyers feed off.
Most people agree "oh i cant trust a review..." but they will trust you saying random shit on the SI about it.

Nothing is ever going to be perfect Ironmonk but we do our best to stop it on both ends. Sources get dinged too. I know you have seen them, all three of the top three in the last year have had two weeks or more removed from the ranking for violations related to promos. That costs them thousands and you think these guys cry when I bust em, you ought to see the sources. I am one guy hunting them with very limited resources and time.

There is no denying that some lost their vision along the way, it happens bro. I guess my own personal financial situation is good enough that I have no need to try and cash in on this brother. None at all. Matter of fact the entire mod team that is in place today are all in very similar regards. I guess for me I want to protect this little piece of cyberspace because it does a hell of a lot of good for many of us. I don't think there is a man here that hasn't benefited from eroids.

No arguments from me on that. And trust me I often have to try and re-center myself, it is easy to start leaning pro source versus pro member or vice versa from day to day.

Pretty easy to spot in the pic section. Every week lots of the same people are posting up a pic of a bottle of test or some dbol or whatever they got from a promo. Look back at their pics and they are posting up pics for months on end every week sometimes twice weekly of promo gear after promo they got. Yikes!!
I'll try out a promo here and there if it is a new source that interests me and I am currently on cycle and they have something available that I am currently running but I don't see how any of these people can be putting out a legit review when they have so much promo gear that it could fill up two tackle boxes. How can you accurately judge the effectiveness of any one brand when you are supposedly reviewing all this gear. Hopping through multiple brands of everything in a cycle....it can't be done. I think they are just stockpiling it and putting out fake reviews to satisfy the source. When I look back on their pics and see weekly postings of promo gear for months on end they lose all credibility with me.

If only the pic section were full of food plans with pics of food on the plate....lol....and the sources were chefs that prepare the foods and ship them to you....that would be an additional, progressive move for the site, especially since the meeting the demands of a cal/mac food plan is the biggest challenge...

It really is that simple plus I have the ability to go back and cross reference the dates of their reviews with promos that were active at that time and nine times out of ten it purely coincidentally matches. ;lol
