+ 1 Nicotine is good for DHT levels
Correct me if I’m wrong, but increased DHT is a good thing. Studies find that nicotine actually blocks an enzyme that inhibits DHT production or convertion. Here’s a study. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3200111/
Personally, DHT derived compounds are my go to. Primo, masteron and proviron.
Proviron essentially mimics DHT In body. I love proviron IMPROVES LIBIDO, MOOD, AND CONFIDENCE
As a DHT derivative, Proviron mimics many of the neuroactive effects of dihydrotestosterone — supporting sexual function, motivation, mental clarity, and mood stability. It’s frequently used during PCT or TRT protocols for libido support.
Strong androgenic tone = enhanced drive
Supports mental energy and emotional resilience
Popular among men dealing with low testosterone symptoms or cycle suppression.
Anyways, pop in a ZYN or an ALP lip pillow and boost that DHT

You know what I got for my birthday when I was Young? my pops got me a box of smokes and said Smoke Up Johnny.
Nice write-up and interesting take, brother… and yeah, there is some science pointing in that direction. Nicotine can influence certain enzymes tied to androgen metabolism, so in theory it could slightly favor higher DHT activity.
And we all know from real-world use how DHT-based compounds (Primo, Mast, Proviron) hit …libido, mood, drive… and hair loss for most lol that androgenic “edge” is very real.
So, I’d keep it in perspective. The DHT bump from nicotine is nowhere near what you get from actual DHT derivatives. It’s more of a side effect than a tool, if that makes sense.
Big thing for me is the trade-offs, like you and Jockstrap mentioned:
Prostate health matters. If you’re pushing androgens + adding nicotine, you better stay on top of bloodwork and have your support in place.
And the bigger concern IMO is vasoconstriction. Nicotine tightens blood vessels, which goes directly against what we want …pumps, nutrient delivery, overall cardiovascular health. Not ideal long-term if abused.
Now, if someone is dialed in … running support (Cialis, Telmisartan), staying lean, doing cardio …you can probably manage the downside. But it’s still something to respect, not ignore.
I’m with you though… as a nootropic, nicotine can be great … focus, alertness, mood boost. It has its place. Just not something I’d rely on for “DHT optimization.”
At the end of the day, everything’s tools and trade-offs in this game.
I never used nicotine and my buddy gave me a zyn pouch, I was like this shit is doing nothing but then after a few minutes I was spinning then came the hiccups and then came to the point I threw it out of my mouth and was almost vomiting.
I knew those Marlboros were doing me some good!
For shu, bro! Ask Hadi knows …

His thighs are massive. Makes that 16” cock look otherwise
Keep your prostate regiment in there and blood test to watch
And there are current studies showing nicotine increases cognitive function. I’m currently using Zyn packets, I also dip Copenhagen. Howver, I’m weening myself of the Cope because it’s $14 a can where I live, that’s lunacy.
Side question, does DHT create hair loss/ “baldness” in the beard?
No I believe it increases body and facial hair
DHT makes the top of your head shiny like a turtle shell you can then wax it.
Sorry, wont be indulging in nicotine any time soon but i stay on proviron year round. 20-25mg a day and double if im just on a low cruise. Does everything you stated.
Unless you suffer from Male Pattern Baldness Lol
Yea that is a fact. Some of the biggest alphas ever are rocking the chrome dome bro lol
I started going Bald at 21 mate - I've endured the taunts for years now LOL However I must say - I think thats the reason why I've always been pretty strong for my weight because of higher DHT levels than others, especially my friends when we were younger who all had thick hair and were heavier builds.
