Need help designing HGH comparison testing
I have a decent quantity of three different brands of HGH sitting in my refrigerator; Sersotim, Norditropin, and Brown Top Hyges. Thought I may as well run each of them and compare test results, but since its going to be a long and fairly expensive process I want to make sure I do it right.
-
I'm running the Norditropin pens now at 2.14 iu twice daily. I didn't do any baseline igf-1 testing and really don't want to stop the Norditropin long enough to get one. How important is the baseline igf-1 if I'm only comparing them to each other? Since I have 100% confidence in the Sersotim, would comparing the other two to Sersotim provide enough info, or should I stop the Norditropin and get a baseline? If I should stop it, for how long?
-
My understanding for the HGH blood test is to inject 10 iu 2.5 hours before blood draw. Since I am already running 4 iu per day will that affect the test results?
-
Is 4 iu a good daily dosage for this comparison?
-
Is three weeks long enough on each brand before drawing an igf-1 blood test? And should I have both HGH and igf-1 done or only igf-1at that point?
-
What else am I missing that I'm too dumb to know I'm missing?
All three brands came from top suppliers. My only concern about the Norditropin pens is that it was very hot the day they were delivered and I am worried that the heat may have degraded the product.

You wiill want meaning full tests and consistency
For GH - its 10IU first thing in morning and to have blood drawn at near 3hour mark. Avoid eating anything if you can
For IGF - baseline and then minimum 5 days on it and draw again using the same IU..and then take x amount of days off to clear from previous GH use
It is going to be hard to compare if you dont have consistent parameters across all three GH Tests..namely the same IU taken
I would have recommended baseline though......
How long would I have to be off to get a baseline?
10 days would be an absolute minimum but to be consistent youd need to have the same "off" period for all test; but going off for 3-4 weeks is not unheard of.
AnonI think part of the problem will be if you run all three brands consecutively, the last one will naturally yield the highest igf levels. You will need to take a month off in between to be fair.
Ok I will build in the month off. Thanks
