Multiple DDoS Attacks
ad
I apologize up front for starting this thread...in case it's already been addressed ad nauseum on here lately..I've been absent for a bit. I did a quick scan of the topics and didn't see anything....
I just read on a sources discussion page that they are under another DDoS attack. Eroids has been under attack off and on for awhile now and so have several sources websites. This appears to be a concerted effort by someone who obviously either doesn't have a job or its LE. I'm no expert on the technical aspects of a distributed denial of service attack but this isn't a coincidence. Stay safe out there. Peace

Testrogen_PropC...My guess was its somebody who eroids pissed off at one time or another. Didn't even think of it being fed related. I could understand why feds would want to hack into a src's page but i can't figure out why they'd want to hack into eroids' page.
When I first got here, there was a guy who was pissed at "Kind regards, William", he claimed to have a leash on internet hell.
The Mods BANNED him,.........once the laughing died down.
Thinking back on it, maybe it was "online fury" he had a leash on. Oh well, he's gone now.
Testrogen_PropC...People are complete pussies these days bro. As funny as that is I'm not even surprised lol.
Ddos is a part of life now. Easy to build a net of IoT devices. Hundreds of thousands of cameras and fucking wifi toasters under control. The release of Mirai bot source code made it so everyone can do it. Between that and paid for Ddos services it's easy and cheap.
bigmurphI actually brought this up around 3wks ago alot of srcs have been getting attacked also. Story i have heard is they want btc to release control of the site back to you.
rocketballzHey Murph - what's up bro? Geezus man it sounds more like an old fashioned shakedown in a modern setting. All of it seems like a smoke screen for something else. I'm generally not a conspiracy theorist but it seems kind of like it's "hey look over here" while we're DDos'ing your website... meanwhile we're stealing your data and infiltrating the sources and customers of the underground aas market. Let's hope its a bored 16 year old LOL
bigmurphI am i really am.
But the feds do without a doubt play these games
It is. The easy way to do it is to DDOS a website and charge the owner/operator to stop the attack. The more sophisticated form of electronic hijacking extortion (ransomware) would be to gain administrator access to the site and then charge the owner/operator to get it back or have it deleted. University of Calgary has to pay 20,000$ to get their site back.

I tell ya right now we need a plan b...some kinda way to make contact...snail mail and homing pigeons might have to be what we succumb to...lol
bigmurphPlan b homing pigeons I love it but I think preprogrammed drones would be better just don't know if its possible or how much the cost would be
I like the drone idea, too...
Morse code
Not a bad idea, either...
rocketballzHoming pidgeons...Brilliant!! Smoke screens with wampum and maize? Lmao. Proper OpSec by source and customer is crucial.
Collectively we win....patience is a virtue...
I thought there was updated software for that? Or, I read it sonewhere...they had a program that wouldn't allow to happen..never know who it is though...
CloudFlare allows users to access the site while under an attack, however live versions are unavailable.
bigmurphIts true but I can swear they're asking for ransom but le might disguise there activities which would be illegal by acting like someone illegal is doing it.
Feds and there games they play
Damn cia runnin shit right here in the home land, gotta protect it, bigmurph. The bu can't get everyone...lol
bigmurphI would say nsa or hsi is behind this one
Yep, nsa...4 sure
Hopefully it's just a DDOS attack. SQL Injection in another story completely.
