we are still interested in bringing on two more MOD trainees, doesnt mean you are gonna become a MOD just means you are trying out for a MOD position. If you dont make the cut no big deal. Who else out there thinks they have been here long enough and shown that they deserve a try out? you can nominate yourself or someone else.

bigwillyrolltide vouched for vhman, either one of the 2 I think would be good. I doubt they would take the job though. Definitely not a long time high karma member. There's a few chics I would recommend but I'm certain they wouldn't do it either.
it isn't about Karma... I think when I became a mod I didn't even have a hundred points to my name.. plus as discussions go what does it mean anyway.. Personally, I think you should shut down Goth and GRRL's brewery and force them to be mods again.

It's definitely a difficult job and takes a lot of time. So good luck to who ever else u gentleman decide to give the opportunity to. I think vhman would make a good mod he's got a great head on his shoulders and constantly keeps his cool and always helps

AnonThere's so many good candidates out there, a hand full of course.
We have had so many guys come in with this wealth of knowledge and try everything they can to break rules, rep sources, fanboy, prostitute, turn into pop up sources, scam people, sell via PM, and the list goes on. Many of them have been banned over and over and come back, surely some of them are amongst us, so we are very reluctant and probably will not try to pull in someone like this. Furthermore, these guys that are in bed with sources, buddy buddy on the Si, relaying messages for the source, like to chat it up in 5 different Si's, are never gonna be MODs. People that have tried out for MODs before are not gonna be picked to try out again, at least not anytime soon.

Irongame: he is Always helping new guys. Wealth of knowledge from what I've seen. And doesn't seem to get frustrated with the same old questions. Is constantly all over this site helping people.
Carlosdanger: I've noticed very good knowledge coming from CD towards new folks' easily found questions. Extremely helpful on many different fronts. And from what I've seen he has done a great job so far on the EBC. WHICH has to be difficult at best imo.
I myself have been here for a short time. But these two have given me the most knowledge by far. Whether it was directly or indirectly. I think from what I've seen these two individuals have the characteristics that I would expect from a MOD. God speed gentleman.

This is a tough one. Myself of course. It would be nice to steer this site back to the way it used to be for a change. Even if my chances are slim and none I always liked those odds.
