+ 8 Clarification! EVERYONE READ!

ad

There seems to be some confusion about how this website works and what it means to be a "Verfied source". I see scattered comments throughout the site saying things like ,...

"What difference does it make if they are verified or not? Don't verified sources scam ppl too?"

Things like this give me a different angle to look from. It makes me realize some of you have no idea how this works. I'm going to do my best to simplify this so there is no longer any confusion.

1). How does eroids help people make wise choices when choosing online pharmacies?

Well the way it is intended to be is a member uses a source. They submit the source for review and set up a discussion page for other members to discuss this source and share experiences. The source may or may not want to be included in the rankings but it isn't up to them. Eroids is intended to give the consumer the upper hand and slow the advancement of the many people looking to scam you. How? Well if you google any of these top sources, you'll see a link to our site. In that link you will see the words "Is this site real or a scam?" which naturally gets your attention. The many thousands of unique (non members) visitors to the site every day now have the option to join eroids and share an experience they have had with a source. Good , bad or ugly! Or they can just surf the pages to see whats up and who is who these days. Enough people post reviews, the scammers are now at a disadvantage because the unique visitor checking up on things isn't going to roll the dice with their money if someone has been scammed. This prompts sources to walk the straight and narrow. This makes them want to please the customers and no longer rob people,...usually. The next thing that happens after a source has been submitted for discussion and review, they have the option to become a verified source on our site.

2). So what is the verification process? Or what does it mean when a source is verified?

When they go through verification, all it means is that whoever is claiming to be the owner of that website actually has the keys to its back rooms. It means we can verify that this person is the one responding to emails on the website contact page. If a source elects to use this option and they join our site, they will be asked a number of questions to help us decide if they are legit. They need to provide some kind of proof of business history via other discussion boards, web domain receipt, references , etc. They sometimes wait a long time for this process to be completed. Why? Well, if a source is brand new, they have no track record at all. We have nothing to go on as far as determining whether they are looking to scam people or just expand their business. So we make them wait, and wait and wait some more. The idea is if you are already an established source then you have a solid customer base and don't need eroids to keep your head above water. If they rely on being verified for the survival of their site, that is a major red flag and they will most likely be put through the ringer. This is not to be dick heads and play games with sources. Or power trip and tell you who not to talk about. It is to protect our members as best we can. There is only so much we can do. In the event the source doesn't have the credentials we require for verification, they need an established, reputable source to vouch for them. What do they mean by vouch? If the guy decides to take all your money and run, the source who vouched for them is now responsible to make it right. Once they are verified they can now interact with our members in the designated discussion page and review page. They can use the private message system to conduct business or whatever else they need. There are restrictions on that as well but that is another thread. Once all these things have been completed and they get the new blue source tag, they have access to a sources only room where they can interact privately with other sources as well as carry out day to day affairs on their pages.

3). Does verification protect you from being scammed?

Some people seem to think that this means eroids backs the source or is giving them a thumbs up. No! Not at all! This means nothing more than stated above. That the person operating the source account is actually the person replying to emails on the website they have posted. That is all we do here.
The rest is on the members. WE do what we can to protect you from the out right blatant scammers like that .net scheme from earlier this year. If you aren't familiar with it, an anonymous person or persons took it upon themselves to carbon copy the websites of a lot of top ranked sources, then they bought the rights to that source name with the .net at the end instead of .com or whatever. A bus load of over zealous newbies got scammed and came here crying for us to do something. Sorry, that isn't how it works. You jumped in without doing your homework, now your job is to share that experience in the form of a review and rating so that the next guy doesn't make the same mistake. The money you lost,...it's on you.

4). What do the mods do when sources scam people?

The only thing we can do is investigate the claims. If enough people have issues with late arriving packs (beyond the advertised T/A) , claims of garbage product, or other issues, we give the source an opportunity to respond and correct it. If they fail to do so we will put them on hiatus (they can no longer post or pm and in some cases their page is shut down temporarily) , encourage everyone that has an issue to post up. Another huge factor which ALWAYS gets overlooked is we now become referee's between the fan boys and scammed members. This is also another thread you can find details here.

http://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/fan-boys-and-nut-huggers

So we simply keep order and allow you to share your experience free of bias or fear of retribution from the community. Some claims on the web suggest that eroids itself is a big scam site. Well, all that shows is the ignorance of not doing your own homework. If they understood how it works, they would feel silly saying things like that. Eroids is NOT in the business of selling anything. We do NOT condone the sale of anything illegal (accordance with U.S law). We do NOT endorse it. We do NOT promote or distribute anything whatsoever! We don't condone the use of any illegal substances as named in the controlled substances act (Title 21). Even the words of our moderators (when in discussion about cycles etc.) do not represent the view or position of eroids. Moderators are individual entities acting/posting of their own volition,or on behalf of a made up internet character. Our purpose is simply provide a place to allow instant communication between consumer and vendor conducting business via the web. All we do here is organize and arrange the meeting between the two. Knowing the laws of your country is your own responsibility

This makes sense. Some of the things floating around the web about this site are funny now that I read this.

SwaySway's picture

Thanks for the clarification...... Make sense to me!

Nitti's picture

Just for the sake of argument, what exactly is it that people think we are leaving out? Dudebro? What is the angle you think we are playing? This isn't a trap or anything other than an attempt to get to the root of your questions. If what is said doesn't satisfy you, then I'm sorry but you're just gona have to cry and take your ball home

SuperMans Daddi's picture

Hey bro, do you mind if I ask what the hell that is in your avatar? It looks kinda creepy. At first I thought it was a penis with an eye, lol. When I click your profile I get a clouded leopard or something like that.

Nitti's picture

That would be a painting by Alex Gray called transcendent self (I think that's the one). I guess it does look like a dick kinda huh. Ohh well. Not sure about the avatar on my profile page. When I look at it I get an owl. Who knows

nah man im only serious about zewi being an idiot.

Nitti's picture

All good dudebro. Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff. You're cool! I apparently am a doucheface sometimes. Honestly I misread shit all the time on my phone and it gets me jammed up and lookin like an ass like this.

dudebro's picture

haha yeah man i couldn't understand why you were getting heated i thought it was obvious i was just cracking jokes about zewi being a dumbshit. i thought you guys went above and beyond with explaining all this shit to us really. i was just kinda curious because there was a source that looked kinda promising months and months ago that never got verified and since you guys were talking about it i figured id ask but in general im not all that interested in new sources and definitely trust the system. it has worked out pretty well for me so far.

dudebro's picture

ok so why do some guys get verified almost instantly and some guys seem like they will never be verified? it can't be that hard for someone that wants to be here to prove that they own the website they're representing.

Greg's picture

Read above:

They (the source) sometimes wait a long time for this process to be completed. Why? Well, if a source is brand new, they have no track record at all. We have nothing to go on as far as determining whether they are looking to scam people or just expand their business. So we make them wait, and wait and wait some more. dudebro's picture

yeah but it also seems like there are some new sources that pop up that nobody has ever heard of and they get verified instantly. im just curious but im not a shop around type of guy anyway. i have 3 or 4 sources that keep me happy so i have no reason to get all amped up over the new guy on the block.

Nitti's picture

If they get verified immediately then they met the criteria. In most cases, once a top source vouches for a new one ( they accept responsibility for that source and if the ship sinks, they make it right out of their own pocket and on their word. If they don't, they suffer the same fate ) it doesn't take long to get verified unless there is another factor that I'm not at liberty to discuss. There are lots of variables that come into play. None of which are a concern to anyone here. All irrelevant. Bottom line, the sources who get verified quick, met all the necessary criteria and have back up

Roid Noid's picture

a number of reasons, many of which we use that is inside info, giving it out in public would allow sources to know what we are doing behind the scenes. But in a nutshell well say to many red flags is often the culprit.

Nitti's picture

Zewi followed through on what we asked of him. Plus he waited 4 months before he could be ranked. In other words he was here and verified but he was not being rated until he completed 4 months of issue free business.

dudebro's picture

come on noid you can tell us the truth he applied for a special needs exemption right?

Nitti's picture

I'm not going to take offense because I don't think you are trying to offend me but basically you're calling me a liar. No, zewi got in because of what I said. Do you think there is some magical answer that will make everyone go "ooohhhhhh"?

And not for nothin but all of the information provided in this entire post is a gesture to the entire community to try and show you guys that may think we have anterior motives that we don't fuck around about this and contrary to popular belief , we are doing this thankless ass job to pay it forward and help this community stay ahead of the game. Honestly , the players don't matter. Zewi, perf, perses, GG, whoever, whenever , don't matter one bit to any of us with red tags. We don't gain or lose anything based on who the players are. The people who are all wrapped up in the politics and the who's who are usually the ones who have a motive or are a little too involved in source affairs. Nobody should really care about zewi or any other source. Unless they scammed a bunch of ppl in which case we gladly keep their asses out and expose them.

Nitti's picture

Are you being serious right now?

dudebro's picture

nah man im only serious about zewi being an idiot.

dudebro's picture

haha holy shit that's a good question. what a fuckin disaster that kid was. i could never buy shit from someone that acts and writes like a 3rd grader.

And to my fellow freinds that sent me Pm,s and told me to watch or I would be banned for asking this question it just proves that you can interact with the mods if done in a respectful manner ..

Good post for both newbies and long term members. Cant begin to express how grateful myself and many others are for the efforts you put in here to keep us from getting fucked.

Gymjunkie01's picture

Here is my question Is it ok for sake of discussion a higher karma member to be on a unverified src page to just interact and talk with other members not promoting the src or even interacting with the scr till he gets verified. Is this still frowned on I know at one time a few guys got banned just trying to clear a few things up .. Thanks in advance

High karma or no karma, everyone is encouraged to engage in unbiased conversation as you described.

It's when they cross a very gray line then there is a problem -essentially being, or perceived as being, disingenuous.

I know at one time a few guys got banned just trying to clear a few things up ..

If they got banned it was because they were showing signs of being disingenuous as stated above. Often times Mods will get information that you may not be privy to and act on that.

Roidnoid used to stress this point and I think it's been drowned out or forgotten about as of late. Sometimes we will do things that may seem unfair, confusing or flat out wrong. You can rest assured that there is a good reason and the members will probably never know the whys or how's. It comes down to trust imo. You either think we are here to benefit the community or out for ourselves. I think most of the community knows our motives and when we are able , we do explain things. Still human no doubt and act on impulse at times. Or on emotion. In which case we call each other out and govern ourselves as my h as the site.

PIN_CUSHION's picture

That's what Mayweather said.

Nitti's picture

Mayweather is a pot shotting punk bitch. I'll put his ass in a skirt and red lipstick. I got the blue print to beat him. Lol

Yes CarlosDanger, in case you didn't know ,I'm gangster

PIN_CUSHION's picture

Wait is this Pacquiao I'm speaking to, or Freddd....dddd.dddy Roach?

Nitti's picture

Lol. A joke about the Mayweather comments over the last 5 years. Every single fighter they put In Front of him said "I got the blueprint on how to beat him". As dumb as that sounds. There is a blueprint on how to beat Manny! Actually there are 4 of them lol. Floyd has never been beaten thus no print

PIN_CUSHION's picture

As much as I'd like to see it, the fight will never happen. Bob Arum hates Floyd so bad , and likewise with Floyd, they'll never agree on the split, venue, or ring size. We all know who wins the fight though.

Nitti's picture

I dono bro. They say the boxing Cold War (Top rank vs Golden Boy/Showtime vs HBO) is over and arum in his old age wants to bring the cream of the crop to the surface to make the best fights possible. He wants to do it for his own legacy. He wants to be the promoter who put his petty differences aside and gave the world manny v Floyd

PIN_CUSHION's picture

Let's hope so, it's the only plausible fight left for the both of them.

Gymjunkie01's picture

i apreciate the response and information on this matter .. Just seems to
Me a select few guys are always the first one on new src,s I do not condone these actions .. Basically I just posted to clarify for other people what's right and wrong as I knew it would draw a response to my question and clarify the grey area. Thank you to all that's posted

Owes a Review × 1
Roid Noid's picture

the easiest clarification on this is no its not against the rules, but there is a lot of factors we use to determine whats going on and if enough of those factors get filled in someone is going bye bye.

Nitti's picture

Ohh and if you didn't know it was ethically (possibly morally) wrong you would have never specified high karma members being the culprits. That suggests you know exactly what the appeal of high karma members shilling a source or bumping his page to the top. I feel Ya. It's not a crime. But it's just dirty

Gymjunkie01's picture

Exactly just getting clarification for some people !! Cause I do see this a lot going on and it takes advantage of new members or members in general that doesn't know better they see high karma guys bumping there and they feel it's safe ..

Owes a Review × 1
Nitti's picture

This is obviously not a rules violation and depending on the motive, it can be frowned upon. I'll do my best to break down my thinking here. Because everyone doesn't feel the way I do. First thing, you guys all know the reason people bump a source discussion page (verified or not). It's not nuclear physics. In some cases it's completely innocent and no intent behind the chatter. But more often than not , it is a matter of a few high karma guys getting some free shit from a source who they promised they would help spread the word by throwing their weight (karma) around. Is this a big deal? Ehhhh, not really. In the grand scheme of things it's a "whatever" issue to me. But there is a reason that shill reviews get deleted and reps for sources are not allowed. Because you're manipulating our system by skipping through the loop holes. So is that fair? I guess that is a matter of perspective. Some say all is fair in business. Some say this is bullshit and you know damn well you're using an unfair advantage in exchange for favors. It's one of those things. A paradox in its truest form. So it creates confusion when we allow some ppl to do this but others not. I will just say this on it, if I see this and call it out, I'm batting about .500. So half of the time I have been right when I habe a hunch about a source. But I'm wrong a lot too. But at the end of the day , I feel better calling it out and being wrong than letting shit slide or getting complaisant and seeing the snow ball grow until it's an avalanche and out of control. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. So it is frowned upon for sure but that doesn't mean anything will happen or be said. It's not a violation of any rules. But a verified source will have a lot more slack for bullshitt posts than someone not verified. That should be self explanatory.

The Impastable's picture

This is very well written, and hopefully clears up any confusion regarding the topic. I don't see how this could be any clearer at this point.
