Milky fluid when aspirating

Ok, first time for everything....SO..today I was pinning my right quad. Stuck my 25g 1" in the normal area where I always do, aspirated , and there was this milky substance with a little blood mixed in. I've never seen this before. I've pulled back on the plunger a few times saw blood moved around to a new spot, clear good to go....but this was a first. What the hell was that milky substance with the little bit of blood????

It's happened to me a few times. It's puss. Mine cleared up on their own by draining because they weren't hot, red, and I didn't have a fever. But it would be irresponsible to tell you anything other than to go to the doctor.

Pretty much has to be infection. I aspirated my delt once and was surprised to see all this yellow pus-like stuff coming out. It wasn't hot, wasn't sore. Never suspected a thing. I'd put the pin back in where you did and try to draw as much of that out as possible. That's what I did.

That's the key...the "normal area". How often are you rotating injection spots? If you're injecting the same spots time and time again you can develop a sterile abscess which may explain the infectious looking fluid you've aspirated..Hmm...

Areas are never injected more than once every 7-10 days. I use both delts, quads, glutes, and recently pecs. So I'm definitely not hitting my right quad or any area on a daily or EOD etc basis.
