international shipping, customs question

So I just put in my tracking number for an order coming from India. It says it is being processed by US customs. That is normal right? That is just part of the process? it doesn't mean customs has seized it or anything right? Sorry this is my first international order.

You are correct. Patience is best utilized when getting international packages. I know it's a pain in the ass lol
Ok good! They've actually had really good communication thus far.
The time frame that I used when I would get international is if it hits customs and it's not in my hand 3-4 weeks later, it's probably seized. With the holiday, I'm sure customs is backed up so I'd be prepared to wait. If it does get seized, you won't know it right away because usually the letter comes months later.

Yea every package has to enter customs that comes from over the pond. It may be a bit delayed there because of the holidays.
