+ 1 Insomnia

ad

Any solutions for this long occurring problem?

I've tried lots but am willing to do almost anything. It's driving me nuts, and hurting my gains. By the way, taking 4 ambiens puts me to sleep for 2 hours max. I've tried lots of meds with no real help. Seroquel works but makes me off the next day.

Thinking GH may help. Peptides didn't help one tiny bit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tried valerian root? Makes a big difference to me when I'm on tren.

Hope it improves ASAP.

I can't believe it does that to you guys... I think I'm flawed. :(

OMG! Maybe I'm a man! I get sleepy after sex! When we have it at 4am!
VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

the dreams i am having lately are more vivid than even when i am gilled up with tren... you know the sort of dreams that have you thinking for like an hour after you woke up.. real emotional stuff like from my last marriage and things... weird

That's funny that you say that... A has been having some really wild dreams... same kind of thing. They last what seems like a really long time and are every detailed.. like it's a story when he wakes up. I thought he was losing his damn mind.. now I'm thinking it's the gh... they haven't been happening but about two weeks now.. and he's been on for well over a month. (Andro, scratches her head and ponders)

I'm only taking 1iu... so maybe since you are a man and will be taking more it maybe different for you.. My sleep hasn't changed.. I still don't! I'm going to hope that you are like all the other men and it give you good sleep!
ANBRO's picture
Nope! I stay up till 2:00a most night and then I lay here til I finally fall asleep and I'm up at 6:30. The weekends are worse... I normally don't fall asleep til 5-6

GH may help you, however... for me it does not have that sleep effect that it has on some.. I know for Abaddon it does but just remember we are all different..

Here are a few things that have helped with my insomnia.

My prescribed meds give me an extra couple hours per night, although they make me feel like a bag of smashed dicks the next day.

Melatonan and/or Benadryl used occasionally will also give me an extra couple hours but if used more than a hanful of times per month I find I become tolerant to it.

Maryjane. A coulple puffs of some quality kush always worked better than the above options for myself.

A large meal close to bedtime. Now obviously this can be bery counter productive if you are cutting but a large meal has helped induce drowsiness many time, couple this option with the above Maryjane option and it works very well, but will get you fat quick lol.

As of the last few weeks GH has turned me into a sleeping machine! I strongly suggest you give it a shot, Im actually having trouble staying awake past 9-10pm.

Hope that is of some help.

Is it from steroids at all?

I have the same problem you are having and I too got sober a few years ago and just got off opiates all togather and cant sleep no matter what. Thanks for starting this thread

i got strung out real bad by the time i was 18 and continued the habit for another 5 years until i got locked up and forced clean. i too had trouble sleepng for a solid 2 years while in there, tried several different meds while in there to help and they all did to a degree but it was never consistant. the med that worked best for me is called remeron/doxepin (pill form/liquid form), but to be completely honest with you man, it wasnt until i completely stopped taking EVERYTHING that i began to remember what real, quality sleep felt like. at first it was hell, much like you describe actually - only a few hrs of shallow sleep a night, but it slowly but surely got better and better. meds helped me no doubt at one point, but when theyre not doing their job anymore its time to move away from them instead of onto a different one IMHO. theyre a tool, not a solution

That's weird because peptides help my sleep a little bit. Nothing crazy but it helps. But I also have been rx'd a sleeping med trazodone for years now it never stops working. still on same dose as I was 3 years ago - one of the only sleeping meds that you won't develop much of a tolerance to at all

chadnsport's picture

how does this med make you feel the next day, I have a dangerous job and cannot afford to be groggy in the mornings

Right on about trazadone. I used to take it for years. I did eventually have to increase the dose, though. However, there is no need to take it every night. Best to cycle different sleep drugs which work via different mechanisms. Lunesta one night, trazodone the next, for example. I have found doxylamine succinate to be a really good one. I frequently take it with melatonin.

Ambien is only useful for sleep initiation. And I built up a tolerance quickly. I much prefer Lunesta which helps you to stay asleep.

One thing you never want to do is use benzos like valium, xanax, klonopin for sleep. Heroin would be preferable - the withdrawal is minor compared to benzodiazepine withdrawal.

A discount voucher can be found on the Lunesta website. Amazon has Kirkland brand Doxylamine for a very good price.

Yea man I been in the pharmacy business for years. I deal with samples all day. I know all the side effects and everything. I know trazodone is old school and can cause sides like stuffy nose, headaches, and dry mouth.

But like you said benzo tolerance is no joke and withdrawal is potentially life threatening or can induce seizures. Melatonin only induces sleep. I used to take that and wake up 1-2 hours later every single night.

I started at 75mg traz and take about 100mg now thats over 3 years of tolerance. I may take a break and try to lower down to 50 but it's working now and I'm not gonna try to fix it if it's not broken.

j223's picture

Dry mouth is by far easier to deal with than the potential sides benzos can bring - addiction, headaches, anxiety, or worse

You hit 4-6ius of legit gh you will have trouble staying awake if your human lol.

Modified's picture

Isn't that due to hypoglycemia? That doesn't sound too healthy.

Cheatnnature's picture

Tbh I don't know if gh does that? I know insulin will.
