I broke my pinky in the middle of a cycle and can't lift for at least four weeks. What should I do as far as continuing my cycle??

Dang bro. You can squat. You can bench. Time to learn the suicide grip I use for all pressing barbell movements. You can prolly do a lot with straps even if you can't wrap your pinky around the bar. A broken pinky should not keep you from being productive in the gym.
I have been doing legs, abs, and a little cardio. I just don't wanna waste my gear..and using my pct for four weeks and then starting back up just seems like a waste..I'm gonna figure out some new things to do...thanks for the advice
Well, the simplest fix here is to amputate. That pinky hasn't been doing shit for you anyway. Let it go and get back to lifting now.
Off where there heads..........lol
You've been on a big "amputation" theme lately. Is it just good practice or are there things going on in your private life that is generating this? Inquiring minds want to know.
I think he just wants to cut aka amputate something. I don't it matters what it is finger, limb, or head. lol
And to think I was going to post something about this pain in my dick. I'd hate to think what doctor Darth's recommendation would be. Snip snip :-p
Your in a roll today would hate to see if you missed a stroke injured your man hood?? You wanna amputate that to
Not mine. But yours I am okay with, even if it is technically mine that was injured.. lol
Ha ha
here is what I was told a long time ago... tape that shit up and stop being a pussy.....
ha ha that's right tape it up to the finger next to the pinky and just keep going. Use the pain as fuel for the gym and keep killing that shit.
If all the great people in the world would have quit because of a little pain they wouldn't have been great and accomplished what they have.
I can't imagine some of the pain those people have went through.
Most injuries can be fixed with tape.
Get creative here brother. There is plenty you can do depending on the equipment at your disposal in your gym. Lighter weights with high reps where you don't need to grip so tightly. Lots of leg work, dips, machine press (chest and shoulders). When you can then introduce light pull work and use lifting straps to help your grip.
Broken finger and you can't lift? Plenty you can still do.
I do need some time to heal i can't grip anything.. I guess I could do legs, abs and some cardio..
Any pulling motions are certainly out of the question, but legs, abs, cardio and even light pressing (shoulder / bench) should be achievable. If it doesn't involve gripping tight, you should be ok.
Get hook hook grips, problem solved.
You won't be surprised to hear I got some of these when I I broke a bone in my wrist about 8 or 9 years ago, (scaphoid). And yes, I still managed to train back
I trained ten years with a broken wrist. Thought it was tendonitis...turns out it was broken scaphoid that never healed. They had no choice but to remove it and install screws, plate, etc. Fucked me out of forearm curls, straight bar curls, and barbell bench. :(
Hahaha! Was expecting this response. Am not disappointed.
Like cat said above plenty you can still do bro with a broke pinky. You just have to want it bad enough.
You can do legs and use a lot of machines bro just leave your pinky pointing out, maybe good time also to hit cardio Idk, use your head in sure you will come up with something. Best if luck.
If I was in your situation, I would abort the cycle and start pct. I would give myself time to heal and use the gear I had left in a future cycle.
I was thinking the same thing but I didn't want to waste my pct when I'm going to start back up In a couple weeks.
