high testosterone & psychological effects

ad

Hey iron bros, it's mad early in the am, I couldn't fall bAck asleep so I stumble on this article that discusses high test and its mental effects..
I've been dealing with sme bullshit lately and I was wondering if high t-level is making the situation worse than it really is.. I feel extremely upset, very emotional and angry at myself..
im an experienced juicer, I never get any psychological issues on Test. In the other hand, high doses of tren can definitely fuck with my head. i don't know how the high test is influencing how I feel. Anybody here had emotianal issues on gear? Anyways it's a good read..

well, i'm a pretty chill dude, one thing i notice is that i am more assertive, and if i let things build up i do feel the rage, but since its realized i calm it down. My best performance times and when i have gotten raises at work have been when i have a good "tested" state of mind. nothing like tren ace rage though, cyp eq and dbol together are easy to deal with compared to tren and test + an oral for me though, maybe since it's so potent. Towards the end it started giving me anxiety and gave me a stimulating effect. Like a swoll ass squirrel in my head, but controlled on the outside.

princeofallsaiyans's picture

I'm pretty much the same on or off gear.

Grab your self. And say SELF i got this but also smake yourself. BC that fucker SELF is an aggorant asshole. Dont blame an AAS as the problem.

TheFlash85's picture

High blood pressure spikes- irritated, aggitated, agression etc. Predisposition- mental before- mental on sometimes enhanced same with anything.

Imho it depends from person to person, you can't generalize

Xrated's picture

I don't agree man. High test, low test, and I can honestly say I feel the same, psychologically.

I know what you mean as I feel fine whether I am at 400 or 1500, but when I drop below those levels I am no longer a functioning human. The psychology difference between 0 and 400 is night and day. I unfortunately know due to years of living with an undiagnosed pituitary adenoma.

DragonDog's picture

I wouldn't read anything beyond the first paragraph of that article, fucking pop psychology bullshit. Frankly, the author has some serious insecurity issues most likely caused by an unconscious drive to engage in peekaboo at the urinals.

IMO, testosterone amplifies everything, so if you are dealing with stress then you need an iron will when on testosterone because your emotional responses are now even stronger. I recommend strengthening your emotional control. Brothers, misery is an option, choose happiness.

peekaboo, the struggle is real bro

I think it's bullshit in this article that it says men with high testosterone won't keep a marriage. The deal is women want to beat men down and be the ones with dominance and control and me as a man ain't having that shit it's 50/50 gender equality I'll just drop this here https://youtu.be/4BNxVAWcu7Q

Lol, +1 for the video....entertaining.

My boyfriend says keeping his blood levels level is very important, helps avoid the rollercoaster effect that can effect his mood and sense of wellbeing.

And there I was thinking I'm probably boring you to death with all my gear chat ;)

Yep, that's why I got her to make an account. She does all sorts of stuff, she loves aqua aerobics.

Work's at her friends stables so she definitely ain't work shy, whatever the weather them horses need letting out and their stable cleaned out.

Glad she gets a bath as soon as she's home....lmao!

High five!

What, are you standing on a chair? ;-)

He is correct. The more stable blood levels are the better off, the user is.

I love the spikes, hate the valleys. I agree stable levels are best.

What a load of shit. He's extrapolating that because in animals and roid rage individuals, high t individuals tend to dominate. Wow, earth shattering. I guess humans have no control over their feelings and always give into their hormones (ok, I'm taking men here!).
If you're a jerk, your a jerk, regardless of your testosterone levels.
I'm on trt and I was a hell of a lot more grumpy and anti social before I got only trt. I'm much better on it. I actually have been married for 25+ years and treat my spouse great. I guess I do t got his myopic model.

DragonDog's picture

Right on. I was mean before I started TRT. Thanks to TRT, my wife came back to me. And I now treat her as a queen. We have been married for 19 years.

Too true

Greg's picture

Well I'm gonna to go then! And I don't need any of this. I don't need this stuff, and I don't need eroids. I don't need anything. Except this prop.

And that's the only thing I need is this. I don't need this or this. Just this Prop... And this ethanate. - The Prop and the ethanate and that's all I need...

And these bitcoins. - The prop, the ethanate, and the bitcoins, and that's all I need...

And these syringes. - The prop, and the ethanate, and the bitcoins, and the syringes...

And this clomed. - The prop, this ethanate, and the bitcoins, and the syringes, and that's all I need. And that's all I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one...

I need this. - The prop and the ethanate, and the bitcoins, and the syringes for sure.

Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

And I don't need one other thing, except my dog.
...I don't need my dog.

GrowMore's picture

Let's talk about controlling that oestrogen Greg, letro for you and lots of it!

Greg's picture

I think the issue isn't so much how much test you have that will make you emotional. It's how out of whack your estrogen can get. When it is off, jerk or not, you'll be crying because the dog is looking at you with those sad puppy dog eyes. Or you're chasing and yelling at the dog, trying to kick it, because it was looking at you with those sad puppy dog eyes.

vhman's picture

You had to bring up those damn puppy dog eyes.... sniff, sniff.....

I just thought there was a lot of generalization in the article and many general conclusions drawn, without any testing done on those with high test. Where is your scientific method? Just thought is was pop psychology at its best.

IrishMack's picture

Agreed, My mood sucked before therapy, I was grumpy, and quick to snap. On therapy my mood is more stable and I can reach 8 when I count to ten before I snap, before it was 2 lol. if your an asshole your an asshole plain and simple, put that same asshole on estrogen therapy hes still an asshole just now he cries when he throws a temper tantrum. Put him on test and he still throws a temper tantrum, its just a lot louder.

SenseiMiagi's picture

Elevated and reduced hormones certainly have an impact on how we cope with things. We all react differently. Personally I get extremely anxious and paranoid when my estrogen levels rise. Almost to the point of impending doom. Definitely check estro levels when you feel a bit off tilt emotionally.

Try and remove yourself from these types of situations while cycling. We need balance, especially when playing with elevated hormones. If you cant remove the emotional catalyst, remove the elevated hormone. Overall mental health is more important than short term muscle gain.

try 100mgs of 5-htp daily, since I use it my sleep is very good and I don't wake up during night. I also feel more stressless than before I've started to use it.

I would also be looking at estrogen mate.

I'm either grumpy/angry...or very emotional for no reason if my estrogen is out of balance.

Once I get like this I know I have to up my AI
