ONE SRC'S PERSPECTIVE OF THE BARRIER

Hey guys, just thought I’d put a little something up because it is abundantly clear that a large number of you do not understand how it works on our side. This is not a flame or even a rant. I just thought I would put a little something up to give those of you who aren’t familiar a little insight and understanding on “the other side”.

**I do not speak for every SRC here, this is only my experience

1. As much as (most of us) try and conduct ourselves in a professional, business like manner and the atmosphere here on eroids is more like that of JUICE SUPERMALL the reality is that we are not a regular business with customer service, HR, billing, warehouses etc... and eroids is more like a JUICE FLEAMARKET with vendors set up for you guys to mull around in and spot the deal you want.

2. To continually bombard SRC’s with emails like “did you ship yet?” only clogs the machine. I have recently been forced to do away with trackers (like many src’s) because the anticipation just seems to be a bit much for some of you and having something to gage movement somehow quells that anticipation. Now we understand that you guys get excited and/or anxious about your gear and in that moment yours is the most important pack there is, but to us every pack is the most important pack. So when you send us an email 2days later (with a single sentence on a separate thread from your order) you have to know that we have dealt with maybe 100’s of emails since your order. For myself, I try and give a response to every email so when it is taking 3 emails to say what could easily be said in one and you multiply that by 50? You can see what a time drain that could be from us handling the real buisness of getting YOUR pack out.

3. SRC issues? I only speak for myself when I say just contact me directly and I will handle it. I am not one of the SRC’s that spends ALL DAY/EVERY DAY on the board (wish I was!) So my SI or PM is not the best way to get your issue resolved (and also a way to get the regulars stirred up) LOL! Also, there is NO WAY for me to know what the issue is without having full disclosure of all your personal info (which I do not do on the board) Hopefully you have chosen me (or another reputable src) by reputation. If there is a group concensus that “said src” has a good record and is reputable then the very idea that you have been singled out to get screwed is ridiculous! There are a dozen reasons why emails aren’t returned, orders get lost or packs don’t land. So getting all riled up at a person that already has your money isn’t really the best course of action LOL! But seriously, we make our living by reputation so (most of us) will do our best, within reason, to make things right. Myself (like many other SRC’s) have a separate email acct for you to contact for issues so your problem doesn’t get lost in a sea of emails. So please pay attention to what you are doing and where you are sending. Send ALL pertinent information and don't assume we know what and which you are talking about.

4. A great number of issues “I” have found with getting orders expedited quickly is the inability for you guys to follow directions. I have looked at many SRC sites here and the directions are pretty simple. Speaking for myself, I am contantly having to waste emails asking for information which I have already clearly stated I needed. This info is not for you guys to randomly choose from, we need it ALL for a reason! I do have my spurts when I “assume” instructions have been followed only to have to waste more emails and more time chasing information. I have had to cut and paste info from the rest of your thread or even pulled up all of your emails and fished through them for information because you have failed to follow instructions because it would be easier than waiting for you to return another email (again, TIME,TIME,TIME!)

5. Gratitude. I’ve seen many posts coming from arrogance and entitlement from both SRC’s and Custees with implications of who needs whom more? We ALL need each other guys. WE are what makes eroids what it is TOGETHER. And from both perspectives for every SRC that has (and will) cut and run with eveyones loot there are a dozen custees trying to get over so we ALL play the TRUST GAME!
