HEALTH CONCERN
Hello,
Just chasing some imput here from different people as my GP is stumped at present on where to go with my health. I have taken several cycles of test, dbol, deca on the years with liver supps on and off and health has been all within range with minor ALT elevations over the year that have subsided. This cycle I just completed come off 4 week cycle 50mg anadrol,12week cycle of test e 500mg per week. Started to feel spaced out and unwell towards the end and went to take bloods ALT was only 56 and AST 50 Ferritin 320 over the course of 4 weeks ALT has risen to 190 and AST 100, Ultrasound also showing mild inflammation of the liver. So I stopped all supplements and went cold turkey which hasen't really helped in anyway.
Now 2 months has past and I still feel like rubbish, fatigue, brainfog, memory loss, tired, sore abdomen.
Every illness and sickness has been tested all neg.
Current ALT is 89 AST 35( normal) though ferriting is now 436. Normal range is 0-320.
Testosterone dropped to 5 and has only slightly moved to 6. normal 10-30. Have seen and Gastro doc cleared and heading to a Endo doc next week. Any help on getting my back on track?

AnonI swear these orals are awful, never mess around with anadrol or any crazy dose for dbol or any of the other strong orals (Anavar and tbol I don't count as strong orals). Im sorry to hear that you've been feeling shitty. My best advice from going through some health issues related to cycling is to not try and fuck with anything. Be patient and healthy as you can be and your body will rebound
I had exactly the same problem at the beginning of August after a 12 week sust cycle with dbol kicker. My liver values were through the roof I was on the sick for 2 weeks and only just got my values in the normal range.
All I did was ditch EVERYTHING! No supplements or anything just water or lemon water 1 sliced lemon in a 2 liter bottle of water (good for a detox) and drink 4 liters throughout the day get your urine clear.
Then when you get your urine clear start a liver supplement tudca is good also essential forte give yourself a good 3/4 months before you start anything else. Hope you get well soon keep us posted buddy
Anyone else had liver inflammation before?? Whats the fastest thing to correct this? cheers
Just had upper ultrasound of abdomen, everything came back as normal, liver size is 18cm thought which still shows larger then normal? any supps or natural foods 2 help get this down quick?
what PCT, and AI compounds have you used while you did these "cycles"
have you had a full hormone panel, I.E. test, free test, estrogen, E2, progesterone, prolactin, thyroid function?
also a few others things that should be monitored when using deca even after are hematocrit/hemoglobin. red and white count.
AnonI have been going through a very similar situation bro. And all of my blood work has come back normal. Loads of blood tests an an ultrasound later my doc is still none the wiser.
What I would try for the brain fog (although it's only a temporary fix) is a product called lactulose. You can buy it over the counter at any pharmacy.
It's great for clearing toxins from you blood which in turn can enable you to think more clearly and increase your energy levels.
It has done wonders for me and it's cheap so it's worth a try.
Hope this helps and the best of luck.
That will also give you the worse diarrhea of your life.
AnonAbsolutely not if taken correctly, sure it's used for constipation relief but it's also commonly prescribed for people with advanced liver disease to filter toxins from the blood.
No good mate, its a nightmare hanging around waiting to try find whats going on..................did ur liver get affected at all or did you just get the memory loss brain fog symptoms? is ur iron ferritin levels raised at all?? mine are slightly over at the moment and seem to be just staying there.. thinking maybe giving blood may help
AnonNo good? what do you mean you've tried lactulose with no benefit?
Giving blood will most likely help. I honestly can't think of anything else that may be helpful as others below have covered things.
FR accepted but if it's concerning this particular issue I can't think how I can be of any further assistance.
Regards mak.
Anyone else have high ferritin levels normal is 0-320 mines 436..
Just a thought here. And could be way off, but there's a condition called hemochromatosis. It is typically a genetic mutation of the factors that deal with the cytochrome P-450. These are all the enzymes in the liver responsible for activating or inactivating drugs as well as endogenous( things within the body) substances. When one or more of the many factors of the cyp P-450 go awry then things can go haywire. A number of them cause an increase in ferritin. I would run this by your endo just to cover all bases. This is by no means medical advice just something to consider with all the factors you are faced with.
Lymph was 1.9 lower end and last test is 2.4 still all within range but lower end.. just ALT and ferritin out of range now and TSH is still at 1.. testosterone is 6... seeing an ENDO on Wednesday hope they can sort these symptoms out.. Ive got test on hand but just want full health back because starting again
blood pressure was 135/75 RBC was 167 post now back to 158 normal range, blood is def pretty dark from use and ferritin is still up over at 436, normal is 0-320... should I give blood or the inflammation should subside in time??? never using harsh orals again....
Have u donated blood before?
Not yet but looks like I may now haha
Thanks for reply everying, am running TUDCA now and really have seen a slow improvement within liver values and inflammation but still seem symptomatic with high ferritin levels 436 normal 0-320 as for the thyroid function they did check TSH and it come back at 1 normal is 0.40-4.0 so I guess it is sluggish atm.. would that be whats causing all these dramas???
whats blood pressure like? rbc? thick blood? had these exact symptoms few years back on test/deca/eq/drol cycle, blood was like thick syrup, get it checked and donate some blood if needed.
also what gearhead said for sure.
on a side note, you been having any kind of sexual activities unprotected with strange lavish gals? could be unrelated too any of this, could be std.
Post BF%..
Bro, how did your thyroid panel turn out? You said everything was tested but I got this feeling they didn't look at your thyroid. The symptoms you are describing can be a lot of things but they certainly also fit hypothyroidism which is easily correctable.
Definitely have your thyroid checked, the symptoms all fit.
What was the liver supp used? Try a more effective liver supp and double the dose. Oral.aas is known to continue elevation of liver enzymes two months after use, so ur enzymes should have been.more in range in last blood work. TUDCA is a liver supp that is well recognized and effective. Also, look on ur bloodwork and tell us what your LYMPH is on your CBC differential...the bloodwork with the highest elevated liver enzymes...
TronBAM! +1
I've read amazing stories about how Tudca has helped people..not only in the aas world.
I agree. I believe more Hematologists need to do randomized controlled sudies on an outpatient basis with TUDCA...
I used it on high dosed dbol 100mg.along with high dose test and anavar. Liver enzymes were in range post cycle. Its when i dont use it that i see my liver enzymes creeping out range. Its good stuff!
TronDouble post..
how long and what did u use for pct this last cycle? Im sure a more knowledgable member will chime in soon on this and get u some answers or at least pointed in the right direction. Does your dr know about your aas usage?
Agreed. From what OP stated, he may have not even PCTd correctly, or at all.
Any input?
