ad
Hi,
Currently on 500 test 450 eq each week. Feel great apart from my hamstrings and knees are agony. Usualy climb a munro ( mountains in Scotland ) each month but can't even work my legs never mind climb a mountain.
Could this be the eq? I'll be doing my bloods next week but tbe last ones were spot on.
Cheers.

You said your last bloods were spot on. On this same cycle? Far enough in that the EQ was in full swing? As others have mentioned joint pain is a symptom of low estrogen. Typically you’d feel it in other joints to though. Any other symptoms you’re noticing? For me it’s always dry painful scalp, some dry skin and dry lips. Low e2 can also decrease your sex drive and fuck up your ability to get hard, stay hard and even how hard you get.
Are you taking an AI? EQ is an Ai in its own right. Your next blood work should provide some insight into what’s going on.
I’m in the US - I had a similar Eq experience and it was from my E2 dropping to the low end of normal when my body was used to running 3-4x high. My whole body felt like I’d been beaten and for a while I thought that it was because I was really hitting it with my lifts. The bad news is that because Eq has a super long ester, it takes a really long time for it to wear off. It helped to up my test dose a little but there’s only so far you can go with that … If that’s what it is, then by reducing the Eq, it’ll slowly correct.
Can’t know for sure without a test though. In the US the test is a sensitive E2 and comes back in about a week, but it is the one that directly measures E2 not the (less expensive) antibody based test that can cross react with other estrogenic compounds.
If your E2 is crashed that could contribute, however eq is said to increase collagen synthesis to a large degree and help with the joints actually.
