GH deficiency and safe sources

ad

Hello,

I am a 30 something woman with a pituitary tumor. I also weight lift.
I recently got diagnosed with Adult GH Deficiency. This has been going on for a while and affecting me more and more as the years go on.

My lovely insurance has found a way to weasle themselves out of paying for my medication, requiring an additional deficiency. The lowest I can get it on a program with Omnitrope. This is $22/mg, which is high when you figure I will eventually be on anywhere from 1 to 2mg per day. Even at .6 per day, this is a ton.

I am very desperate and sick of working out and starving myself for subpar gains and constant stomach fat. There are other factors like my lack of thickened uterine lining from lack of periods and the risk of cancer and heart issues.

I am seeking the best, reliable, safest source.

From what I gather, kits aren't always accurate and vary. Pharma grade is better, but it is expensive.

I'd like to know for sure I am getting GH and not some peptide that messes with my body to produce, as my pituitary gland isn't functioning correctly.

Am I ignorant to not want something made in China or is that where everything comes from other than pharma from Turkey.

What are my options?

Thank you for your time.

If you’re in the US GoodRX is the go-to switch out for insurance as it’s immediate and doesn’t require you to be on file with them. Just Google their home page and choose which option is best for you and have them scan the barcode on your screen and if it will come out to exactly what’s on your phones screen as the pricing for them.

From looking at the options Omnitrope is the 2nd most expensive to Genotrope but Zomactin is ~1/5th the price of Omnitrope and at most areas can be delivered to your pharmacy if it doesn’t carry it or they’re lazy, you can always make the drive to the county over or wherever they’re obtaining the meds from and save some time.

In the other hand I have a guy from PT who has the option to purchase Genotropin but tried a Chinese source on here and loves it. I think he’s at like 5.5iu’s per dose at 2 doses a day and was convinced that for the price it would be collapsed/folded bonds or just way outside of the purity delta that’s acceptable for the compound (no idea what those numbers are) so there are definitely good UGL or International lab HGH on here. It’s definitely just doing the research and finding who has the best prices since there’s such a huge variance in prices for the same brands.

I can ask the dude who used to take genotropin if he has any other ideas but I think GoodRX is the best alternative to insurance.

I appreciate your input, though I have truly exhausted all options. Zomacton is $56 a mg vs the Omnitrope assistance program that is $22 per mg. Both are ridiculously expensive and don't fit my long term needs. I could easily be requiring $800 in GH in a few years.

I will do the research and am glad to hear others are finding quality GH from Chinese sources

Hgh raises risks on tumors and cancers. Dr should be sending you to a specialist.

Edit since this was a last night convo here is copy paste

Ive had several friend/relatives that i helped with wasting and cancer related issues. Only thing more certain is death

Wow! Okay so quick research and skimming those.

Many posts on the Facebook group for AGHD that state their endos have no experience with those who have both GH deficiency and prior cancer. It's very clear there is a massive disconnect.

The leading specialist endo said there isn't correlation but still I am wary.

I will say my quality of life is so bad that that risk is something to be mitigated and not avoided.

Ghdeficient's picture

Like the endo sending me to a cancer specialist? The thing is, my GH is low so I assume putting it at a healthy level wouldn't produce the same issues as acromegaly or excess use of GH. I need to get in a normal range. Then again, endocrinologists haven't been fantastic for me so this will be kept in the back of my head. My GH is at <0.05ng/dl and my IGF1 sits around at anywhere from 60 to 80.

I will go through the research and appreciate it!

You have your safe source. It’s your pharma grade prescribed hgh.

Pretty much everything on here is going to be Chinese. Some sources have like Turkish pharma but it’s going to be pretty much as expensive as your pharma grade stuff discounted by insurance.

Hgh is very expensive unfortunately.

From what I understand basically all of the underground labs are going to be sourcing raw powders from China.

That doesn't necessarily mean they are bunk or impure, you can find sources who post third-party testing results for purity and concentration of their HGH vials which usually comes out close to 99% and properly dosed.

That being said, users here do report differing reactions/side effect profiles from HGH suppliers, stuff like "source A gave me really bad carpal tunnel in my wrists but after trying source B that doesn't happen but I'm still getting great sleep & recovery".

Any of the top 10 domestic sources listed here which sell HGH are most likely going to be reliable, most sell kits of 10 bottles of 10iU each, a replacement dose for HGH deficiency would likely be between 1-2iU per day.

I'm not going to shill a specific source, so I'd recommend checking out review pages for some popular sources and use the "ctrl-F" search function to search "HGH" and find positive comments.

Hope that helps!

The funny thing is is that my doctor talked about joint pain and how it can happen easily with GH. Same issued with regular brands.

Would you be concerned with a brand that has 96 or 97% purity? What is the other 1 to 3 percent? I was recommended a site I also found on here that has in the 97ish range

Thank you for your input

BrainsNGainz's picture

97% is a realistic result, sometimes I'm honestly more skeptical of ones saying over 99% lol.

No extraction process is 100% efficient, be it peptides, chemicals, etc. I can't say with certainty what the other 3% is because there are different methods for peptide synthesis, could be incomplete fragments or ones that contain sequence errors or leftover chemical side-reaction products. If you've ever taken herbal supplements, it's likely that those contained more non-specific contaminants or had worse purity than whatever is in an UGL HGH vial.

Drask88's picture

Honestly I wonder how they even test it to be 97% at all. 99% of that powder in the jar is stabilizer. 5mg is such a tiny amount of hgh it would just be a few specks in a jar if it was pure. What are they even testing for purity?

It kinda seems like a scam to me, but I don’t know the process.

I hadn't thought of that! That is very odd how they get to that number. I may call a lab and ask.
