Need someone that maybe has some experience with traveling and gear, i literally need to bring one pin on a plane, I'm a few weeks out from my show but i just need to get one pin loaded up with me. if i checked my bag does anyone KNOW for a fact it will get through or am i better off just over nighting it to my hotel? i know its petty just one pin but, we all know how it is prepping for a show, miss one shot and you think your whole prep is ruined. Traveling in the US, just state to state.

Ace VenturaIt'll probably be fine in a checked bag. If it were me, I'd mail it.
You should be fine if you check it in. No one to confront you for the script you left at home if they inspect your checked luggage.
I've never had an issue... there are thousands of travelers with scripts for injecting, Diabetics, hep C, TRT, patients etc.
I've pre-loaded what I've needed and put it in my toiletries bag in my checked in luggage on flights and cruises.
Using the plug keeps the profile of the syringe smaller (easier to carry), prevents air from getting in and oil getting out via the needle(due to elevation changes), and helps to keep the plunger from accidentally being depressed.
To hedge against external contaminants and potential leaks I put the syringe in a snack size zip lock bag with most of the air squeezed out.

The legality of pins is a state to state deal.
Just because they were legal where you bought them, doesn't make them legal other places
Exactly, if you are traveling to a state for work or pleasure make sure you go to that state or countries page and find out if having syringes is legal. If it is not legal you better bring your script with you or you can be detained.
