BigBmajAll those magazines are good for is creating a sense of inadequacy. Every time I look at one, then look in the mirror, I realize just how small I really am.
Yeah bro, but the worse part is the lack of meat in the mags, they are a bunch of dudes talking about other dudes. not training, nutrition, meal plans, shit that would be useful for the regular meathead or someone inspiring to become a bodybuilder... useless mags for the most part.
BigBmajFitness RX is decent for scientific articles. I think Doss mentioned that below. Only one I've ever found with some substance in it.
Don't forget they also always that the requisite female bikini shots. This can help you get over the fact that you spend your days looking at semi nude men. ;).
I don't read either but I have a buddy that's 18 and into working out pretty steady. He buys them both. I was flipping through one here at work and he stopped me on the "legal steroids" page. He swore up and down it was legit stuff. That he had taken both the dbol and the anadrol and that he actually made great gains off that crap. I wanted so badly to try and educate him. Sad part is he seems to have decent knowledge of PCTs etc. he just doesn't know how to get legit gear. I'm sure not gonna help him with that but it's a shame that its even in those mags. No telling what they sell kids day in and day out. I asked him what he thought was ACTUALLY in there. He said "idk, but I know they take all the illegal stuff out" lol
AnonDude they all just fill theyre page with advertisments i would say both
I tend to stay away from fitness mags bc they're mostly propaganda and other bs. Only one I ever saw that I actually liked was Fitness Rx (I believe was the name). Not sure if they're still around or if they're still the same. But they brought real science to their articles.
An example is an article they did on fat burning supps. Rather than being filled with sup companies propaganda and sales pitches, they listed the top 5 or so. And each listing carried case study that demonstrated the effects of the active ingredient(s).
Even the meal plans and workout routines broke shit down with a bit of science. Not just the how to's but the what's and whys. If you read my posts here, then you already know that's my kinda shit.
