+ 1 Finding a Steroid Friendly Coach for my First Cycle

ad

Hey all,

I've been working with natural coaches for a couple of years, but I'd like to find a coach who can help me properly manage my first cycle.

I've done my own research in terms of what needs to be done beforehand like organ imaging, any bloodwork, and any tests for predisposed conditions, etc.

I'm now at the point where I just need to learn more/talk to someone, or just more people in general to get a better feel for if this is something that is feasible/intelligent for me to do.

How did you guys go about vetting your coach? Are you happy with your coach/protocol? If you do this solo, why did you choose to do so?

Of course every resource I have access to online is filled with people just trying to make money off of people in my position. I understand this is an investment, but I'd like to hear from y'all how you knew who/what to invest in.

I appreciate any input.

I really don't think you need a Steroid coach for your first cycle, you can learn everything you need to know purely by being a member on here and save yourself £75 to £100 per month in the process. First cycle should be anywhere between 300mg to 500mg per week Test E only for 12 to 14 weeks. Nothing more. Split that dose in half and then inject twice a week to keep hormone levels as stable as possible. There is a beginners section if you use the search box at the top that covers everything you need to know about dealing with oestrogen should symptoms arise, how to inject and also how to structure a PCT cycle afterwards if you don't want to go the TRT route depending on your age.

Any questions or problems you have you can just ask on here, post up a forum question or PM Pandateston for advice!! Lmao Good

Bro, @riceinmyyogurt
Press nailed it, honestly. You really don’t need a coach for a first cycle if you’re willing to read, learn, and ask questions. This forum alone has more real-world knowledge than 99% of paid “coaches” out there. And you’ll save yourself a nice chunk of money too.

That said… if someone does want personalized guidance, structure, and accountability, then yeah … having an experienced set of eyes can help avoid stupid mistakes.

If that’s the route you wanna go, guys like @press1 and @Petecastiglione are both extremely knowledgeable, experienced as hell, and humble. (They don’t advertise it, but both coach … you just gotta ask about rates. Worth every penny, I guarantee.) They won’t sell you dreams, just solid, realistic guidance. I’d trust either one without hesitation.

But like Press said, for a first run:
Simple test-only cycle. Learn how your body reacts, manage estrogen properly, and don’t overcomplicate things. That alone already puts you ahead of 90% of beginners.

And if you ever have doubts, questions, or just wanna sanity-check something… post it up or shoot a PM to Press, Pete, or any experienced member. Plenty of solid heads in here willing to help.

Do it smart, stay patient, and you’ll be just fine.

LMAO!!! I would just like to state there that I don't coach lol I have thought about doing it before but not too sure how you build up a client database other than having a number of social media accounts to promote yourself through which I don't have.

I'd be interested in some guidance! How can I reach out

LMAO I get you bro. But honestly, if you ever decide to, you definitely should. There’s nothing wrong with giving extra attention and charging for it … that’s literally what coaching is.

You don’t need 100 clients like those TikTok kids chasing numbers. Real talk: most people don’t have the discipline to actually follow a plan anyway. I’d rather have 2–5 solid clients who really put in the work than 100 that half-ass everything.

I totally understand your point of view though. And honestly, with the level of knowledge you have, you’re already ahead of like 90% of the trash coaching out there on social media.

Not trying to put you on the spot lol just giving credit where it’s due. You’re the man !

I agree with you, having a couple of guys who are locked in as well can look better on the coach rather than having 50 guys, half of whom aren't sticking to the plan. When the time comes @press1 , I may be looking to you!

Never compare yourself to any of the Strongmen guys, they are an entirely different breed of human when you actually see any of them in the flesh. Luke Richardson lives very close to me and I was talking to him about 6 months ago in the supermarket - the top of my head was literally half way up his chest when stood in front of him, the width of each pec was like the width of my entire chest LMAO From the back he had a HUGE slab of muscle where his traps were - never seen anything like it. These guys are like Giant Excavators!! Oh yeah saw Terry Hollands in Sainsburys a few months back also!!

It depends on your circumstances I think. If you have experience working with coaches in the past then you can utilise some of the knowledge you picked up from them. It also depends on your goals.

I competed in the past with a coach, he and I being natural, then I had him as my coach as I approached my enhanced show. I fell out of love with it all and just got back involved with the gym last April. I've been on my own since then and gone from 280lbs peak bulk to 229lbs today. Stage weight around 195lbs in the past so I'm aiming for 205lbs before commencing a growth phase. I plan on doing it solo because I feel like you can learn so much online yourself. That isn't to say a coach wouldn't come in handy, but because I don't yet have a show date planned for the future, I'm just taking it each day at a time and I do well now to hold myself accountable. In the past, having my coach held me accountable.
