MT1 Progress Log

ad

Hey y'all,

I haven't seen many posts discussing MT1. Definitely few to no posts showing progress. I'm going to use this thread to document my progress and protocol for anyone interested.

First I'll give a before picture: rear facing phone camera, posing room light on max setting

Should have went w/ MT-2. Been using MT-2 for over 2 decades off/on. No issues except for changing races a few times, lol. MT-2 I pin 250mcg for the first couple days to see how the nausea is on that particular batch, then bump it up to 500mcg. Around the 10 day mark I notice whatever freckles/moles I have here/there turn dark, then it's time to hit the tanning bed. At that point I'm bullet proof from burning and just get darker and darker. I've ran it 1mg/day for a few weeks before and literally changed races I got so dark so fast. Once you achieve your desired level of darkness then you can just run 250mcg every 2-3 days to maintain your tan. Along with enough UV exposure of course. It's probably the most fun peptide there is to run tbh. If my experience doesn't sound like yours then you need to trash the MT-1 and get some MT-2. It will do exactly as I stated. Get 2 vials. One vial will get you as dark as you probably want to be and then you'll have the next vial to dose lower for maintenance. That should keep you dark all summer if you do it right. Be careful because if you dose it wrong or ramp it up too fast because you'll be projectile vomiting for the next 24-48hrs, true story. Horrible experience, you don't make that mistake twice, lol. If you're smart that is.

I ran 1mg once a day for the first week, now on the 2mg once a week coast. Already gotten pretty dark but I've been tanning a good bit.

And for a quick first impression summary which should be taken with a grain of salt as I am not nearly deep enough in or consistent enough with dosing to truly know:

I've noticed days where a single application of 50spf would result in slight burns have resulted in no burns. Some reddening, but it fades quickly.

Freckles have darkened, but not in a negative way. It contributes to a darker look and skin between freckles has slightly darkened as well, but to a much lesser degree as is expected, even from normal UV exposure.

I'm certainly noticing some very subtle pigmentation changes. I am slightly concerned that freckles and certain areas of my body which have slightly tanned in the past will just more intensely outpace areas that never do i.e. forearms, neck, shoulders getting quite dark compared to other areas, but we will see.

At my very small dosage, no sides whatsoever.

I have also decided to include NAC with the reasoning being, it leads to a more bio-available glutathaione source for skin cells, and MT1 causing oxidative stress to skin cells similar to UV exposure (not the same) could be offset by an anxioxidant source like NAC/glutathaione. I was also considering GHK-CU for similar reasons, but I'll keep it very simple for now.

Also, why not MT2? I'd rather not get random erections. Just not something I'm particularly interested in. Also, of course this could be controlled by dose, but I wasn't a much more subtle and slow approach, and MT2 is considered stronger and more effective for pigmentation changes.

Hopefully this is helpful or interesting to someone. I'll check back weekly or biweekly depending on if differences are noticeable or if I change my approach in any way.

And here is the first "progress" photo. Unfortunately taken with front facing phone camera, different angle, and seemingly different lighting. I'd call it slightly useless, but upcoming photos will be standardized.

Protocol was sub-optimal to say the least. The weather wasn't exactly prime UV for a while, so I did one day of 100mcg, then waited almost a week before starting again. Then did 100mcg once before UV exposure, then about 2-3 more times. Last time was 150mcg before UV exposure.

I was being slow and inconsistent to see how my body handled it and all is well. I will now be consistent with 100mcg-150mcg ED, opting for mornings unless I begin to experience sides, but as of now, nothing, though dose is incredibly low and most likely unproductive as of now.

The plan is to build SLOWLY to possibly 250mcg ED until I begin to see noticeable pigmentation changes, then change to a maintenance dose of about the same on days where UV exposure is planned.

Since I'm not running this for any other reason than being able to exist in the summer months without turning to ash, I'm not being aggressive with the pace or dose, but I expect needing to increase dose reasonably to see noticeable changes, especially in photos.
