These are 13 of the fake accounts made .They were created the posted a picture to get the karma .Got karma ,posted a review for AAP and voted then never logged on again.We had a couple acceptions where we logged back on but for the most part you will see that we voted then never appeared again.We have 1 pic and 1 comment on most of these.I took part in this for free products but then got some fake dopamine agonists that messed me up so fuck him.This was so very obvious.The primary account is Fitchic which would pad all the votes.

We've just recently banned 48 fake accounts related to this. I had evidence against all of them.
These guys however don't show on my fake accounts radar, they're somewhat legit in this sense and I can't act against them. Considering they're all more or less inactive now and the fact that fakes tend to sign up once a month I'll probably start deleting low activity accounts and their votes.
StevebWhat if in order to make review and vote you also have to post a gear picture of what you used? That way you have to at least show you had the product. It's not 100% but it would help weed out a lot more fake votes.
Most of these were made on trak phones ,so it would take a closer look.Its not low activity its no activity.The members need to help police themselves.Account posts 1 self pic then never makes a comment,except for the review.Thats the biggest tell.If someone gonna post a self pic ,they are going to respond to comments or do more posting.Thought that was going to get called out eventually and never did.Also used pics of the same person for multiple accounts.
But neither you or I know it for sure and therein lies the problem. There is no rule saying someone has to join and be active. All we can do is look for evidence and if there is none we have to let it go.
Some times you have to execute decisions for the "greater good" that aren't necessarily going to be "fair" to everyone.You guys deleted several legitimate accounts in your sweep.But "greater good" was served.In this case there are at least 12 that you know.Severals others that are fakes but will get away because they are active fakes....I got to tell you though.I am starting to doubt you a little.I know you are friends with AAP but I didn't think you would turn a blind eye to this.You jumped for him a few days back to remove a review from a legitimate customer because it was bad and now your defending what are clearly fake accounts? Maybe the requirements for voting should be set higher, 7 karma, but also must have 50+ comments and be a member for 3+ months? Login activity should also count. you don't login for 3 months, your vote is thrown out?
Just an idea.
Anyone can get karma really fast. I could have a 100 names with karma ready to vote very fast. What I can not do is keep 100 names active. I really like the idea of deleting inactive accounts. Maybe the sources that are willing to give free gear for fakes votes can get a permanent Warning on there sources page. "WARNING THIS SOURCE BRIBES DOUCHE BAGS TO PLACE FAKE REVIEWS"

They use to do that, if you look at the logs forum section, you see previous sources making fake accounts and getting called out.
I think any source caught getting fake votes should be like you said, flagged and let it be known.
That's really shitty for all the other sources who are working hard and doing their best and getting no where b/c of these scammers.
I still think it needs to be a combo of Karma + comments + activity.
No one can get karma, post 50 comments and login every 2 weeks for a 100 accounts. or if they do it will take them a lot longer to get there?
As I said in a previous post,..... reviews given for free gear, should be titled "this review was bought and paid for".
