elbow tendonitis

ad

Hey guys I've got a bad case of tendonitis in my left elbow , it started out mild but has gotten much worse .

I've done a lot of icing with ice packs and I've tried muscle rubs and anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen , it helps some but it never goes completely away I went to the Doc and she gave me a Cortical-steroid which seemed to help for a few days but again it came back .

The Doc assured me tendonitis is highly unlikely to result in an actual injury , but it is starting to affect my lifts especially my bench . My right Arm is really having to pick up the slack because my Left is just refusing to completely push like normal .

I'm considering an orthopedist doctor for some trigger point injections directly in my elbow , and I've also got some NPP and HGH put up for a later cycle if anyone thinks those would help let me know.

Ty you in advance for any help.

Got this (in both arms from wrist to shoulder) from arimidex. I do tendon resistance training with a band and light bicep curls. Also taking collagen supplement in powder form. Seems to be helping. Needless to say I stopped taking arimidex. I dont really need it anyway, but I was surprised that this is one of the side effects.

Consider seeing a chiro as well. I had something similar where I had gone down to 15lb dumbbells for curls because any more caused some extreme pain in my elbow. Chiro checked it out and said my elbow was sliding “out of alignment” whatever that meant. He popped the fuck out of it and damn near broke my arm resetting it but one week later I was back curling 45’s pain free. Might help.

Ill give it a try mate , Chiro's really are miracle workers.

Rest, ice, compression and ibuprofen. You can't work through tendonitis, by doing so you are repeatedly stressing the tendon and inflaming it so that it will never heal and can then risk a complete tear.

I know I've gotta Rest , but I've worked so damn hard just to watch it melt away . But in the long run I know rest it best.

Couple of weeks isn't going to hurt you. Stay on top of cardio and legs and you will be fine. You can only half-ass it in the gym with a bum elbow so you aren't going to make much progress training like that anyway. The sooner you can let it fully heal the quicker you can get back on the gain train.

Thats a good idea, Why didn't that occur to me .

I'll just kill Legs for two weeks and lay off my upper body completely, I've been needing to catch my legs up for a while. Besides after a good rest my Lifts always increase a good amount.

Ice bath it followed by heating it. Pop out that NPP or even some Deca helped me to overcome these types of ailments...Rest is also needed for this particular ailment...

Hey brother I was having the same.problem in both elbows… the push days I was ok with but pulling or gripping anything became almost impossible. I started on 400mg of NPP a week and also 500mcg BPC-157 ED. I swear by the combo. For a solid 2 months it was bad and getting worse. I’d say after 3 weeks of this combo I started feeling confident I could start going heavier. I’m not completely healed but it’s 100x better then what it was. I’m sure if I took a few weeks off from training it would be healed even better but I’m a stubborn ass. I switch arm injections daily from left to right so they both get it. I go as close to the point of pain as possible. Hope this helps
