+ 1 Diet, Training, and then AAS--My experience

ad

I want to open this by post by saying that this is not directed at anyone. However, I've seen an alarming trend of users on here that are on tren, insulin, HGH, etc and when I check out their pictures they look almost natty. Again, not directed at anyone and I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings. Just hoping people can learn from my mistakes.

Now, that leads me to the subject: Diet, training, and then AAS. No matter what people say, I've often found that diet is often overlooked more than any other aspect in training. If your diet isn't right for your goals, you will not meet them. Period...it doesn't matter how much shit you pump into your body. You can run all the tren in the world but if you aren't giving your body enough of the RIGHT proteins and carbs to grow; it won't.

I was a personal trainer before I joined the military and boy did I think I knew everything. The first "cycle" I ran turned out to be tren ace. I was told it was test. A guy I knew gave me 2, 5cc syringes pre-loaded with the shit and told me to pin 1ml EOD. Yes, using the same syringe. What did I do? I pinned 1 cc when I got home. The next day I thought to myself, "hmm, I don't feel shit." So I pinned the rest of the damn syringe. Yep, all 4 ccs. So, that was 500mg of tren ace within 24 hrs. Well, the next 36-48 hrs was hell. I literally thought I was going crazy. It was AWFUL! Remember, this was the first time I ever tried anything.

A couple of weeks later a bodybuilder started working out at the gym I worked in. I started picking his brain and we ended up being good friends. One day we started talking about AAS and I told him my story. He asked to see the other syringe, I had just thrown the other one in my bedside table. I show it to him and he was floored. Told me that it was tren ace and was shocked that I pinned 5ccs of the shit within 24hrs time. Anyway, over the next year I learned more from this guy than I ever learned getting my personal trainers certificate. What surprised me was that he always harped on diet and nutrition.

My point with this is that when I started working out again 1.5 yrs ago, I did it right. I trained for 13 months natty and gained 28lbs of lean muscle natty. I felt on top of the world but I slipped. I ran a bulk in Jan and I completely threw my diet out the window. I ate enough to grow but I ate WAY to much. At the end of my bulk I went from 212 to 241 and I was fat. Yes, I put on muscle but I was fat. Before I started my EBC cycle I dieted back down to around 216-218.

Where am I now? Well, I spent a lot of time working on my diet and THEN I figured out what gear I was going to run. Because I realized I still had a lot to learn I turned to a coach to help me with my diet. Guess what? I have learned even more.

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that some of you guys might need to step back and take an honest assessment of yourself. Maybe if you spent more time on your nutrition and diet you would get much more results with a lot less gear.

I decided to share this because I'm concerned for some of you guys. It really worries me to see how many dangerous substances some of you are running with little results. If I hurt your feelings with this post, then somewhere in the back of your mind you know this is you. I don't know any of you in real life but I also don't want to find out anyone on here died using shit like slin when you don't need too.

I agree, but I also know that many here are learning as they go. I know I am. Many of us thought we knew how to get from point A to point B, just as you did only to find out the road is longer and harder.

I will not judge a man that is here to better himself.

We are all here to learn is what I am saying.

I completely agree with you and that is why I posted this. Eroids is a community that anyone can learn from. It's not your typical AAS site where people get flamed for posting anything unless they have been there for years. You've obviously realized this yourself or you wouldn't be here.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that its not that I'm judging anyone. I'm just throwing myself out there to say, "hey guys, look at how I've messed up". If this post came across as judgemental I apologize. That wasnt my intention at all.

Thanks for the feedback brother.

Yea, I know I made mistakes on the first run but the longer you are here the more you immerse yourself in all of the knowledge. It has changed both of us, I have no doubt. Getting diet dialed in is the trickiest task of all but it does get easier I am finding. Thanks to eroids I am leaner than I have been at least 10-15 years maybe ever and I am definitely better looking overall than ever.

The beauty is we both still have plenty of room to get even better.

Nice post G. Unfortunately, that's the way of the world today. Everyone wants results NOW. Me, I trained 15 years pretty, much 7 days a week, watched my diet before I did my first cycle. I felt I maximized my natural potential before starting gear.

My experience found that gear will enhance what you have but not really transform it. So it's important to have a solid foundation to work with.

Even now, while using, I train 7 days a week with 30 minutes of boring, I hate every minute of it, cardio every day. I do watch what I eat besides the sweet tooth. Gear helped me get to where I am but hard work and dedication played a bigger role.

Completely agree with everything you said. The only thing that bothers me is that this desire can lead to death if you aren't careful.

Thanks waltr. I appreciate it.

Brother. Brilliant, and insightful post. Don't want to start deflecting, but I 100% agree. My diet is PARAMOUNT to me. I am clean, I eat well, I take all my proteins, carb rotate, the lot. I am taking lots of stuff, and have been warned off it on here by some, and told to take it easy, and to go for it, the whole spectrum really. My results are from my dedication to training and eating FIRST! Secondly, what I pin. I agree, what you put into your body dictates your results, pins aside.

Concern? Yeah, but don't believe everything you read, some folk can be a little mellifluous, and facts may be diluted :-)

Thanks Doc. I think some people would be amazed at what they can achieve with proper nutrition and intensity in the gym.

Appreciate the feedback. I have wanted to post this for a while, not to talk smack or talk down about people. I've done it right and I've done it wrong. Hopefully others will learn from my mistakes.
