Great question! I used it while on, but after reading just the couple of responses, I won't next time. I never would have thought not to. I love this place lol... You guys are making sense.
cdaddy7I would not take it bc you will have enough water weight gain from the gear..It does kinda puts stress on the kidneys but I just wouldn't add it to the mix on cycle...Creatine is a cell volumizer and it could be beneficial in PCT in giving you and edge on the side of ATP utilization which will help with your endurance deficit from coming off...They used to say it increased homocysteine levels but the newer studies show that it really doesn't have any effect on them...You got enough going on in your body with gear alone I wouldn't add another stressor if didnt have to
thanks for the input
BostonThe benefits are minimal. Ive done it and never notice much. Im with bear, better suited for pct IMO.
thanks for input
I do it post cycle to help keep gains - Don't see a point in taking during cycle as gear increases red blood cells and nitrogen uptake -
but does creatine not help pull extra water into the muscle cells therefore givin it a synergystic effect now dont get me wrong if it works better for you leaving it till your off cycle im just trying to get lots of opinions
yea creatine works different than AAS. But ASS has the same effect of increasing water retention and adds the benefit of greater nitrogen uptake.. creatine's actual affect is to convert ADP in ATP in the muscle meaning it gives your muscles a little more reserve energy. When off cycle and the body is crashing and RBC count is decreasing back, and working out may seem exhausting is when in my opinion you'll appreciate the little extra boost and pump. If you rip creatine all the time you won't notice it post cycle at all.
Also, and I may be wrong here, but on cycle with the body functioning so well for growth and strength and the added calories I would almost be certain your creatine intake from food would match/if not exceed the body's natural limit so taking extra would literally be pissing it away. Most especially if your eating beef and fish.
I'd be curious to see if others agree though, cause although I think I'm making sense, I've been wrong more times than i can remember
well im gonna throw a new question would you bother with creatine if you were blasting and cruising
you got me there bro. I'm not sure what goes on during the transition from blast to cruise.. (I may find out though if my blood work next week doesn't turn out so good)
well im just about too start a 20 week blast then im on trt after that so im with you there bro
