CottenMouth

ad

Here is the problem. For about the last 2 weeks or so I have been having a severe case of cottonmouth. It started out mild but has really kicked into gear this past 2 wweks. I really don' t notice it during the day since I am drinking 2+ gallons of water a day and constantly sipping throughout the day. Towards the evening, I dial back the water consumption so that I am not constantly getting up at night to go to the bathroom. That is when I start to notice the cottonmouth. It gets so bad while I am sleeping that my mouth is so dry that I can't even talk right. I now have to keep a bottle of water near my bed and chug some whenever I get up at night. My first inclination to the cause of my cottonmouth is the compounds I am running. Here is what I am currently on. I am going on 9 wks on my cycle so all compounds should be at peak serum levels.

225mg/wk Sust
750mg 1-Test cyp
480mg Mast e
50mg proviron ED

20mg Albuterol (4mg 5x/d) (3wks on 1 off)
1mg Keto (taken at bedtime)

I am wondering if this could be due to the mast e. I have ran all the other compounds before and never experienced cottonmouth but this is my first time running mast and I know it is reported to pull water out of your system. Could this be the culprit? Has anyone else experienced severe cottonmouth while running mast.

The other culprit could be the albuterol. I have ran albuterol before but I don't recall getting cottonmouth from it. It is interesting to note that the cottonmouth has become worse since taking the albuterol. The cottonmouth was creeping up on me before the albuterol though. I'll be ending the albut next week so I will see if the cottonmouth gets better then. Has anyone experienced cottonmouth with albuterol.

Been off the albuterol for the past week now and no cotton mouth, so the culprit has been found.

Notorious for cottonmouth that stuff bro.... ive never used it more than a handful of times but i find it superior to clen...... just my opinion.

Glad you found the culprit.

I'm not as experienced as most here but I found a case where a 1-test Cyp user was constantly thirsty and had dry lips and even his nostrils were dry. I know that you increased your dose recently, perhaps that could be it??

I just recently upped the 1TC. I had noticed the cotton mouth was getting bad before upping the 1TC.

It's albuterol and those sprays don't work well to keep mouth moist. Get some Virgin cocanut oil and rub a little in you nasal passage and gums and teeth before bed, that will get you about 4 hrs without cotton mouth.

Do you think it could be estrogen related? I seem to recall somewhere that low estrogen tends to dehydrate you. Maybe the addition of the mast and proviron has gotten your estrogen lower than normal and is causing the cotton mouth symptoms. Just a theory (more like a guess).

I don't have any other low estro symptoms so hopefully my estro is ok, I don't have any bloodwork yet to confirm this but I think I am good there. I have been watching for low estro signs pretty close because I was worried about crashing it with the low test and mast/provi combo. I will add that I have not had to use any ai yet this cycle.

I hated albuterol. I still have a ton of it, don't know why I haven't thrown it out yet. I agree that's the issue. I had the same problem, along with a multitude of other side effects. If you're dead set on continuing the albuterol then maybe try a humidifier and I've see commercial for drymouth due to medications product...I just had to google it; Biotene.

I saw some of that spray stuff for dry mouth. Definitely going to get a bottle of it and put by my bedside because this cottonmouth is bad. The humidifier may help too because my sinuses really seem to be drying out also.

I started using a humidifier a few years ago for the winter. Sleeping is quite a bit better. Skin looks better and back stopped itching. No more bloody noses. Wish I'd realized the solution to all those problems was that simple. I think they have really expensive one that clean themselves. I think I paid like 50 bucks for mine. Have to refill at least once a day and keep it clean. If it isn't cleaned for more than a few days it smells funny, i.e. bacteria is building up.

Albuterol most def.

It could be your script for medicinal marijuana but proly albuterol lol

Albuterol increases what's called insensible water loss. Also.......
Water at 2 gal a day has a diuretic effect because your body starts blocking ADH to keep your blood osmolality in check. Then at night you suddenly stop drinking the water before your body stops blocking ADH and your osmolarity shoots up triggering the thirst mechanism. This is the same reason you wake up with cotton mouth after a night of drinking.
Do a little reading on ADH (anti diuretic hormone) and insensible water loss and you will have a better grip on why this is happening.

More likely to be the Albuterol.
