+ 2 Concerning Source Ranks.
So when I first started looking on this site about 1 year ago I would look at the ranks and the reviews to see which sources were legit, gear worked, and reliability. Recently with alot of promos they send out to ALOT of people to boost their ranks. Then you can't find one review for pages other than "I received the promo" I can understand a few but when they are in the low 80's and then all of a sudden they are in the top 5 heck even top 10 that's not fair to the sources that have worked day in and day out earning the rank they are, nor is it fair to the people that want to order but with them it is also their own fault for ordering because they should have done more research on their part. I'm not trying to offend any source or anything don't get me wrong. I'm not hating on promos either! I love promos.

I've made it easier for new sources to get close to top 10.
Giving new sources (or sources with only a few votes) a chance to prove themselves.
I've made it harder for old sources to drop significant amounts.
Giving old sources (or sources with a lot of votes) larger error margin.

Joosemansome sources really went all out on their promo's as far as giving boat loads away - i can see this as deserving the rank boost.
other sources are running promos when already in the top 1-4 spots, they cleared earned their rank prior.
some sources are sending out t3/clen etc nagging people for reviews when the packs they send out are cost them < $10 in materials.. hell, shipping probably cost more than the gear inside. Meanwhile, everyone sings and rejoices about how amazing they are.. they go from not 1 single review, or attempted fake reviews to a top 10 source.
We don't accept sending out t3/clen/viagra promos anymore, exactly for this reason!

Okay. I just know I was personally in a promo and received a few dbol and cialis but then the reviews for people I seen alot that just said cialis.

Yeah wtf I saw one recently where a source sent out 5ml bottles of test (or something) and was asking for reviews on it.
idk, not trying to talk shit on the sources here because most of them are on point but how the fuck can anyone leave an honest review on 5ml?
Joosemanyeah, its a joke. then they pester you to leave a review before you even get the pack! guaranteed 80% of the guys don't even use the gear, they just hoard it and sell their review to the source essentially. one source if you look back 5 pages, got slammed for having fake reviews.. he runs a cheap ass promo and BAM, hes top 10

Yeah, promos should just be promos and not promos sending out free/highly discounted shit and asking for "honest reviews." Most people are just happy to get free gear and I'm sure half of the people that are reviewing haven't even run any of it yet but they just wanna hold up their end of the agreement and leave a review.
Some people are leaving reviews after a week or 2 on something that takes 2-3 months to see the results.

whenever there are alot of promos with freebies, just stand by, allow those promos to be exhausted, watch that source rise, then fall again when his normal products are the ones bringing in the reviews. or if its a good source, his normal products will cause his rating to remain high. either way, promos are short term and if you are a true juice head you will wait to see and stick with the long running sources that have been around. You can also view how many people have rated a source. The older reliable sources have thousands of ratings. The newer ones may have under a hundred. This will allow you to recognize who is actually rated accurately.
Point blank, if people were more honest with their votes you wouldn't run into some of these issues. I personally don't take reviews lightly. If I have a problem with an order it's going to be reflected in my votes. Perfect example, I know of one specific source that has had a ton of problems with shipping and turn around times and tries to blame customers for it in PMs. Yet, the last time I looked at who had voted for him I was the only one that had left him anything under 10's across the board. I even went and looked at some of the people that voted 10s across the board and then went back to the source discussion thread and sure enough it was some of the same guys. That fucks up the system.
Yeah, I know we were talking about promos but like j223 said that shit always works itself out. Stuff like what I pointed out above doesn't work itself out. Plus, if you read a source review page and go off on promo reviews you are a retard. I want to read reviews from people that sent hard earned cash. If I have to go back a page or two so be it. Eroids makes this shit easy but its not fool proof. If people don't do their research they shouldn't be taking AAS anyway.
I know exactly what you are talking about and I agree 100%. Yeah but users that are new to this site doesn't mean they know the right way to order but they know how to use the gear and are very informed of it.

its totally fair bro. it means sources gotta move volume to stay in the ranks. if they need to do promos to keep reviews coming then so be it. cause that means i win. besides, just because i got the product for free, that doesnt mean my review on their service and gear quality will be good. that still needs to be earned. i like the system the way it is now, and i dont care what other people think.

Yup, that's how advertising is. The companies who give more get more get more attention. Bottom line when it's all said and done they will eventually land the rank they deserve, even if they got there faster than other sources who didn't do promos.
A lot of the sources who did freebie promos were top 5 for a while and now they eventually died down lower so it all works out in the end.
Gotcha. But also if a source is new and do that like send out 5 tabs of something to 30 people that'll jump them then people start placing orders and then get ripped off. I have a buddy that pitched from one and he hasn't gotten any responses nor his gear
