+ 3 Protein Bread

This looks really good, I want to eventually make it. It doesn't take a whole lot of crazy ingredients or a bread-maker, just regular baking items at the grocery store, some protein powder, and an oven. It is almost half protein, I wonder if more could be added? I'm sure if you put too much in, it wouldn't set right or raise when baked.

I made that bread this evening. I might have to make 3xsure the recipe for it to make a true loaf. Mine came out shallow in the bread pan. I still enjoyed it. I would like to make french toast with the recipe or a dessert bread that isn't chock full of carbs. I will tinker with the recipe. Thanks!

You can even make French toast out of it. Look at the bottom of the article, it stated "soak a slice or two in eggs and milk and fry it up for protein French toast!", and they were even nice enough to recommend a healthy calorie free pancake syrup. I'm not sure how well it tastes, but it sure is nice to get a little variation in the diet.

I have had protein bread. like 25 grams for 2 slices. 1st few pieces were awesome then it went down heal(lol).I ended up throwing several loafs away. It was so thick and chewy. P28 or something was the name. I really thought I would love it but got burnt out way fast.

Maybe try to make and eat 1 small loaf at a time, so it doesn't get stale or nasty. Bakery is made to be fresh, that's why bakers are baking every morning. I always get irritated at my mother for freezing loafs of bread, when they can be bought fresh every few days at most places, even gas stations sell it.

Ok, now I see what you were referring to, they have a whole line of protein products. They make them looks so good on their website. Too bad they don't have a supplier close to me, I would like to try their stuff out, the nearest one is 40 miles away and I live by the biggest city in my state.
