Bloodletting

ad

Hi all,

Just tried to donate blood to lower rbc count 12 weeks into my first blast. But because i was truthful about what foreign countries i visited in the last year, they refused me- - something about possible malaria exposure. I do not have any labs so dont know for sure the count is high, but i thought WTF, even if i did not need to, donating wouldnt hurt anything.

But now I'm wondering, can I just do nothing? If my rbc is high will it my drop to normal while cruising on 200 mg test c ea 10 days?

Second, if it would be better to be safe and still lose some blood but cant donate, could I take an 18 ga. needle, hit a vein and just drain out about a pint? Seems from memory that they use some freakin huge needle when donating, so I'm not sure an 18 ga. would work.

I dont know why but draining it myself into a measuring cup seems creepy, but I can go thee if i have to.

Thanks, advice appreciated.

The ancients used bloodletting for all sorts of things. I've done it before to attempt to reduce the amount of narcotics in my system, when I used to play with prescription meds. Drug testing and all that. I was young. Anyway, don't do it yourself. If you are intent on doing it, just go to the red cross and try to donate again. This time don't be honest. Let a professional draw your blood. Then if it bothers you, ask them to throw out your blood. You don't need to tell them why. Just tell them you don't want to donate it.

AAS's increase RBC count so it shouldn't be that big of a deal... I doubt the amount of Plasma increased. I'm not too sure what your worried about here?

AAhhhhhh GRRRRRL,..... your just trying to scare him.

I've dealt with a broke neck, an 8 inch abdominal hernia, a thigh split open, an amputated didgit, 4 broken arms (none of the arms were mine) and 4 broken ribs. Hell show me a live buck and in 30 minutes I'll be dragging it's ass down the hill (never hunt downhill).

What's the worst that could happen, he's sucessful and passes out from lack of blood and dies, or collape a vein, or goes for an artiary thinking it a vein??,........hhmmmmmmmmmmm,........I see your point.

Bad idea.
