I go back and forth on this issue. I'd rather see my enemies than deal with some crazy new, is it or isn't it?, fuck wad.

Id put a red x on their tag and let them roll as usual. I'm sick of seeing kids make new accounts and ask for advice. Makes me not want to help new folks out.

What I find most interesting is that I can usually tell my the moniker or pic they choose.

That's a good idea bro. Kind of like the scarlet letter. Being new here, that would alert me to tread lightly when considering his/her advice. If they "behave" for a predetermined amount of time, the scarlet letter could be removed.

I didn't know the dude; I didn't know he was doing some weight-loss challenge or whatever - I tossed the first insult I saw when I looked at his pic - whatever man - we're all super-charged, and considering that, I think we're a pretty well-behaved bunch most of the time! But if an argument has to take place I def. prefer to do it in PM so it's private and nobody has to see it. You are well within your right to exercise your -1 buddy, it's all good!

I think the intent was misread. The fact is pursuing it further was just going to be throwing good blood after bad. You have to know what the situation is and who the players are. The "weekend" comment I think was just about keeping perspective and there's other stuff more worthwhile to deal with.

I don't believe ice pirate meant to be snarky and was trying to help and this was a misunderstanding, but he can speak for himself.

Yes I agree! There is no point in anyone having to get insulted on there bodies that is uncalled for. Or banned for that matter this is one of the issues the mods won't tolerate. Also guys it is so easy for things to get misinterpreted here and then spin out of control. I am not telling just suggesting take it easy so that worse things don't occur and then everyone is sorry,

It is so hard to convey intent over type. No tone, no inflection, no body language, it's just impossible.

Someone just told me I come across like a sarcastic asshole at times and that is almost never my intent. But when I think about it I can see times where that could be assumed.

Lol, i know I can't tell you how much I thought I was a good communicator until coming here when I had to explain my intent and meaning a lot lol. It is hard especially when you get into longer dialogue. The mods are pretty good at it though. Shut up or I will ban you! No way to misinterpret lol. You know who is really good Theo! That brother has a way with words. I have never seen you come off like an ass, only being honest.

My problem is I am better speaking then writing because I can clarify intent.

My absolute favorite is when they post self pics and still deny it. I thought Metalgear was Batmangt, but couldn't be sure. But that mofo's self pics remind me of roughneck, that gave it away just a little. I believe he may have genuinely thought he was smarter than the system.
