Hello there,
I am a 40 year old w/ more than 25 years in strength sports (and to some extent in bb which by definition is not exactly a sport)
I used AAS on and off for several years and have been off for six years now.
I gonna go back on now, but will use a different approach to it than in the past.
I was looking into Bill Roberts concept of short cycles (2-on-4off) which i found tempting enough to give it a try...
I had some reliable sources back than. Now I will try online suppliers and see ...
addendum: I should add that I trained all the time without pharmaceutical support and kept a decent development...blood work showed high natural testosterone (very high for a 40year-old) and general good health stats.

Thanks Tron. I thought about that of course, but naturally there are limitations to what I want. A solid 15 pounds ( I should say that I was around 260 pounds back than and now around 220 for almost seven years..) Progress gets harder with advanced age and I still want up my lean mass a bit.
It is a deliberate decision and with short cycles, moderate dosages and compounds like Drostanolone, Tbol, some Test Prop, ...and a decent pct I should be able to recover rather quickly and fully.
I want to give the 2-on 4-off concept I try...doing 3 to 4 such cycles and see what results it will give and how fast I can recover...it is a very different approach to what I did in the past and there are indications that it will work (slower but quality gains over a longer period of time and faster recovery..)
TronIf you have high natural test at the age of 40 you may want to reconsider doing another cycle.. might mess you up and set you up for TRT if pct doesn't go well.. It would be a shame to mess up that good ole natural test... It's up to you though.
