Active job

ad

Hey guys i wanna ask for some pointers about how i should adjust my diet according to my new job. I work in a factory and this place sucks!!! Im on my feet for 11 hours a day and im busting my ass all day freakin long. No downtime, no bullshit, it sucks. Im looking for something different. But for now im in there 12 hours per day, 5 days per week. So ive been cutting and been doing well, but this job is too active and i dont wanna risk losing too much mass. I wanna keep as much strength and mass as i can while doing this job. Ive only got 3 breaks during the 12 hour shift. Ive been seriously thinking of throwing in a couple slices of pizza or a value meal just for the extra calories on top of my other quality meals. Im certain im buring a ton of calories! What do you guys think? I have a decent metabolism. Good idea or bad? What would you guys do?

Calorie dense foods. Nuts for example. Butter is another. Peanut butter is your friend.

I work at midnight till noon or so 5 days/wk. I have an igloo and tons of food. If you get 3 breaks plus lunch then you should have no problem bro. Dbolz and the rest have great suggestions. Also, depending on how often you train, break up your training a bit so you get more rest. I run a 5 day split, but am going to 4 days since my schedule is super hectic. Just pile in the clean calories when your on your time off so you dont chunk up. good luck man!

I had a job like that for 8 miserable years and I use to do what Dbolz suggested. - well kinda, I ate instant oats alot, I'd mix in a scoop or two of my protein powder (NOT 6 or 8 tho - I'd go into kidney failure at 30g a scoop - lol) plus some skippy natural peanutbutter. I would also do the same with like Wheaties fuel. But the best thing I found was to get a job that didn't suck so bad!!! I feel ya pain bro. Best of luck

Ye when I seen 6-8 scoops I was like wtf lol, but he actually meant all that protein to last him the 12 hour shift... Still seems a lot though lol

3 breaks on a 12 hour shift, so u get a break every 3 hours? Man that's pretty good what is wrong with just eating on your breaks? Or is the problem not being able to eat enough on those breaks fast enough or?
