a quick question about finasteride

a mans biggest fear in life is losing his hair, right under losing his dick.. this is known.
i found out about finasteride and i'm interested in taking it too. my brother takes it (he doesnt use AAS) and has experienced great results with no side effects.
but the part that i am worried about is experiencing those side effects like loss of libido, loss of muscle mass etc etc basically the most undesirable side effects imaginable.
so to counter those side effects or even has a precaution, shouldnt i just be able to increase my cruise test dose and thats it?

i took it for a while some years ago, didnt notice any positive effect and had slightly less libido
but like always, depends on the person
the side effects are rare, i personally wouldnt mess with cruise dose until there was a need. the side effects are mostly reported in higher than typical dosing too, above 5mg. for aas use id suggest 2.5mg a day. women who use it on cycle use 1.25 mg. also keep in mind with Fina, that you should not be attempting to have children while using it and it does pass in semen, so if your with a woman who can still have children, you should not bust one in her. it can cause birth defects. same goes for women who choose to run it. this is not something a female should ever run if she is planning to have children.
