Testosterone levels dropping

ad

I am 32 and have been on TRT since November of 2017. My doctor doesnt believe in injectables because he says my blood levels will be inconsistent. He has me on Androgel and my levels have declined. Originally when I did my bloods they were around 249. After a month or so on the cream it was around 321. Now it is back down to 259. I feel like crap, depressed, and dont have a drive for anything anymore.

Should I see a different doctor? If so, how do I got about finding one that will prescribe injectables.

Also, I have a couple bottles of Test E left over from my last cycle last year. Could I use test E if all else fails? If so, what is the pinning frequency with Test E? Or should I get some Test C every week? I prefer to get the prescription based injectables but I live in NC and I dont think I will be in luck.

I’ve been through this The patches and gels just don’t maintain levels. You have a script already so it shouldn’t be to hard to find a Dr that will prescribe the shot. The shots more effective, costs less and no cross contamination issues.

See an endocrinologist who specialises in hypogonadism. You’ve got to do your research. I contacted about 6 different endocrinologists and send them all emails and carefully read their replies before settling on my guy. Best time I ever spent researching. Good luck to you.

TRT is a long road, not just finding the right meds and ratios but also the provider. From my experience, a great deal of doctors are inept when it comes to hormones, especially prescribing exogenous hormones. Finding the right doc, the right meds and dialing everything in takes a year or more, just to feel partially "normal."

This is why it irritates me when people are completely reckless which leads them to TRT or some of these kids that are a real piece of work that somehow think TRT is glamorous or something.

Find a different doctor, one thats highly experienced with male hormone replacement. Avoid those clinics, they are just legal drug dealers and a joke.

I will look for another Doctor tomorrow. I have had 3 different visits with this doctor and he has the same answer for injectables. He says Androgel or injecting a bead into my hip. I said hell no your not putting a fucking bead in my hip.

Plus it's hard talking to the guy. He's 5'2" and probably weighs 100lbs soaking wet. It's kinda hard for me to bitch and moan that I can't gain weight and get to beast mode....

Let's see, the "bead" injected into your hip where you won't need another injection for 30 days versus injecting once or twice a week. Get the pellet, you have no idea what it's like being a pin cushion every week for years. It's a Depot that lasts 30 days and releases a small percentage versus an injection where you peak and then drop.

Seriously, don't be stupid if given the opportunity for the pellet.

He actually said the bead would last 3 months. I just never heard of this and it's a little unsettling to know a bead will be in my hip. What if it malfunctions and sends a shit load of test into my system, or nothing at all? I just dont have any info on it.

I will definitely do some research on it.

That's the better one, 3 months is nice, it's not going to malfunction and send a ton of test in your system or the opposite. Trust me, it's pretty stable. I have another 4 months and when my company drops this terrible insurance we have I'm going to see if it's available. I am tired of injecting. 5 years + now.

Test e or c is the most effective way of taking testosterone.
Gel is not consistent for many people. Find a different doctor. Rub your nuts with that gel and get a better script for what you want. You have options

Lol...gotta try the nut rub
