Most people who know me on here know I am a stickler for good blood work and for good reason! I just learned that Private Labs does offer a total test range greater than 1500 now. I am excited because this test that I found gives me all the levels I want to know in one shot. These include FSH,LH, Estradiol, Test Total and Free, Metabolic Panel and the very important but often overlooked SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin).
In case you did not know SHBG is responsible for consuming most of your free test and binding it so it cannot be applied to anabolic properties like cell growth and repair. In truth what test is freed from the ester is bound very quickly to Albumin and SHBG, about 98% to be more precise which leaves only 2% for anabolic uses. This is relevant because you can theoretically change the ratios of binding proteins and free test by lowering the SHBG with certain androgenic compounds. This is an experiment I will be doing myself with several other members. So in theory the more test you can free up the better your gains and results.

To be clear here I have not taken this lab test yet. I just got off the phone with them and she explained to me the test number I had to use to get the actual total test range instead of the typical >1500 bullshit.

It is $149.00 bucks....I know it is over twice as expensive as the Female Hormone Panel we all like to get from them. But I am a stickler for good lab work and I feel this expense is more than justified since an individual could actually approximate the results from the labs with different compounds they are taking.
