In case some of you don't watch the news, such as myself. I just saw this come through... They are looking to have annual testosterone screening for those aged 30+ in the military. Those under the age of 30 can opt in as well.
What are your thoughts on this matter? I for one think it is fucking awesome.
It does bring up some questions for me, such as, what application will be used? My guess is cream, cause I wouldnt trust a bunch of crayon eating Joe's with fucking needles and proper dosing protocols . What about deployments? What about those already taking test behind closed doors?

I’m new to this shit, but damn after reaching 1250 test levels on my TRT I feel great. Just started my first cycle couple days ago. Think our military guys need to be running higher test levels and cycles with AAS… nobody wins a war in a dress and high heels. --
Coming from a military family, I like the idea of annual screening. If someone has symptoms of low testosterone, even if their level is above the traditional 300 ng/dL cutoff, and it’s affecting energy, recovery, cognition, mood, or overall readiness, identifying it makes sense. We screen for plenty of other health issues that can impact performance.
That said, the screening is the easy part. The hard part is deciding who actually benefits from treatment and how to manage it long term. TRT isn’t just writing a prescription. It means follow-up labs, monitoring hematocrit, lipids, blood pressure, and discussing fertility. Then there are practical questions: deployments, austere environments, interrupted supply chains, and maintaining treatment safely.
If it’s done thoughtfully, I think it could improve readiness for the people who genuinely need it. If it’s treated like a one-size-fits-all solution, it could create as many problems as it solves.
Freedom isn’t free, and hopefully they don’t hand this over to the same bullshit bureaucracy, the VA, that’s been struggling to take care of veterans for decades. The execution will matter just as much as the idea.

It's not a question the Pentagon will bother with, because it has nothing to do with readiness. That's going to be a question between the doctor and the patient, discussing the risks and benefits of treatment as it is with every prescribed medication, military or not. The soldier can still refuse the treatment, but, if the symptoms of low testosterone are significant enough, it may be disqualifying from continued military service.
Navy recruiting has slowed. I post this as a Navy veteran and it’s funny as fuck.

I come from a military family. Grandfather was a Major O-4 Air Force. Couple uncles are currently Captains O-3 in the Marines. So I’ve heard a bunch of these.

I'm with you on this one but my guess would be pellets if they began offering it. Needles and cream are not going to be practical for any actual soldier.
You should try and land a military contract.
Undecanoate could be on that list. Nanotechnology allows for long term use and would release this (or anything else they want) into your system whenever you/they want.
Undecanoate Is a poor choice for TRT for most people, at least the way the FDA says it should be taken, Which is how the military will prescribe. One 750 mg injection every 10 weeks, making sure you go through the full cycle of feeling great and feeling like dog shit by the time the next injection is due. It's also much harder to control E2 effects

I believe to mandate it is not the best move, however, the barrier to obtaining a script should be lowered. The military doctors wouldn’t even prescribe it to you if you were in the 200s. Maybe making it easier to obtain would be a better move than requiring testing.

They are that's the point. And yes, mandate is good. Injections can last weeks and you have pellets. There will be NO supply problem. --
So you think people should be strapped down, and forced to take injections against their will, That's probably the stupidest idea I've ever heard, first it's illegal, and watering down those legal protections will allow them to force anything on you that they deem appropriate in the future, just imagine how great that's going to be when the the party you don't agree with is back in control.
There aren't going to be any mandates, just for testing, somebody could theoretically have low testosterone on paper and still be able to effectively complete their task tasks and have a high level of readiness.
I think it is more of a media play by Hegseth than anything else. They will test and almost nobody will be out of the reference range and so very little will change. Guys who are already running shit will be able to crash their levels and get the script for true TRT which will save a few bucks on test.
I think the idea is neat for those who truly need it. My main concern comes from when deployments happen or god forbid a war. We shippin out vials and needles as part of your MRE?

Its a 2 for 1. Cocksbreathe loves being around oiled up manly men for reasons we can all imagine, (mac from always sunny) and secondly to cause an artificial shortage of troops so they can enact a draft.
This is purely speculative conjecture, but I think it’s just a means to an end for the real overall goal: getting rid of this stupid ass equality idea that women can do these front line combat positions. Start a standardized testosterone protocol, correlate combat effectiveness/readiness to test levels, institute a new metric to be qualified for certain roles, then effectively disqualify all women from these combat roles due to not having the scientifically backed hormone levels that display necessary combat capability. Now they can’t claim discrimination, they simply don’t meet a metric. No different than not meeting the require ruck march time, push ups, etc.
Tier 1 guys are already using. Command knows and don’t care. Only time they started to pretend to care was when that kid died in BUDS and they found test/cialis in his car. All the buzz around that has since died down

Sometimes, especially on my phone, I'll click on the "comment" button when I am done. What happens is that on occasion, the comment button will not go away like it normally does. So I (and maybe you) think it didn't post and you hit it again. What I have started doing is refreshing instead of hitting the comment button a second time and in each case I have tried that, my comment had posted.
