That Weird Taste In Your Throat Sometimes After A Shot

What's up. Has anyone ever had that certain batch of gear, not particularly any one type of steroid, that gives you that weird taste, kind of chemical like, in your throat as your injecting the gear, or just seconds after? Does that mean that there's too much benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, or any other ingredient that's not in good brands of gear? Maybe ethyl oleate, but I've used a few really good brands with that in it and I didn't get that chemical taste in my throat! Whatever it is, I can't see it being good for you. I've heard junkies decribe that kind of taste after shooting up drugs. I just want to know what it is and if it's particularly bad for your health, like a carcinogen or something! Any thoughts?✌

It’s guaicol! Used to be called super solvent! Used in liquid smoke also.

Guaiacol? It's a solvent that some brewers use. I'm giving up on some gear that has it right now, and yeah, it gives you a terrible taste in your throat that lasts.
It is toxic. I would avoid it's use at all costs.
Actually this happened to me with a top brand that I got to try just test e300. Every shot I get that taste. First few times I assumed it was my fault. Nicked a vein of something. But the whole vial gave me the taste.
