+ 1 Carpal Tunnel… how do you deal ?
ad
So last several weeks my carpal tunnel is just… unbearable. Waking me up every hour when trying to sleep. It’s only when I try to sleep or rest. If I’m up and moving around I’m perfectly fine. But fuck at night it’s just goddamn unbearable. I switched to taking my 1000mg magnesium at night, my b complex at night, and 500mcg bpc at night as well. I use voltaren as well. Anyone have any experiences or recommendations on how you treat this? Thank you so much in advance.

As was said below those wrist braces are crucial. After my accidents my nerves were all fucked up and the carpal tunnel was unbearable I got those wrist splints and slept with them every night, tbh it fucking sucked but with that PT and Wolverine stack I avoided surgery and haven’t had an issue since and I am currently running Tesa/gh
I’m going to therapy for a hand injury and the therapist asked me about hand numbness while I sleep. She said if the thumb, pointer, and middle finger go numb it’s the carpal tunnel nerve. If it’s the ring and pinky finger then it’s ulnar nerve. I told her my whole hand goes numb and she made me some elbow wraps to keep me from folding up my arms and laying on them. They seemed to help calm the nerves down and now I only put them on occasionally when it’s bad. While in there, I’ve also heard them recommend wrist braces for the carpal tunnel patients, and lots of nerve glides.
I try to limit my jerking off to once a day.
The protocol is bilateral switching every 6 strokes until completion once per day
That fucks up my whole rhythm.
Man my wife dealt with carpal tunnel that progressively got worse for a couple years. She did everything under the sun, until she finally did the surgery. I can say from seeing her deal with it, the surgery was life changing. If yours is not GH related, and you’re dealing with the natural progression of carpal tunnel I recommend looking into the surgery. They say there is about a 10% chance of the nerve becoming restricted again after operation, but I like those odds if I’m not sleeping at night lol.
unseen423I got the surgery as well. Thought mine was Tesa related but I cut it for about 6 months and it kept getting worse. Got a nerve study done and found, yes, I did have very bad carpal tunnel, but also a crushed ulnar nerve which was contributing to the entire lower arm going numb (fucking scary). Now I have a smiley scar on my elbow, no carpal tunnel, and am back to running GH and Tesa with no problem!
That ulnar nerve sounds terrible! Was that lifting related or did you have a contributing injury? Going under the knife is always the last resort, but sometimes it’s the only option.
unseen423It really sucked. Not really sure what happened to it to be honest. The doc chalked it up to my anatomy and where my tricep attached near my elbow- not that I have massive triceps but enough pressure was out on the nerve from growth that it essentially crushed the nerve. It was so compressed that they actually had to relocate the nerve.
Gainz411Nighttime carpal tunnel is brutal. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think you stack HGH + tesa + IGF1 together. together can absolutely wreck your hands with carpal tunnel symptoms. Especially when it’s worst at night. That combo can cause a ton of fluid retention and nerve compression. A nighttime wrist brace helped me a lot. Keeping wrists straight at night matters a lot. but if it’s getting unbearable, I’d seriously look at lowering one of the GH/IGF compounds for a bit and see if the symptoms calm down.
I stopped taking igf1 because of numbness and cramping in my hands. When I stopped those symptoms stopped as well.
Yeah I stopped my tesa a week ago and lowered my gh from 6iu to 4iu. I’m hoping that will help.
Just curious why are you guys running tesa and gh, isn't it a bit redundant? Just trying to learn more!
Tbh I’m not sure if just running would’ve given me the same result but the Tesa for sure went straight at the stubborn fat in my midsection me personally I’m gonna run the rest of the Lori have and just go to split doses of hgh instead of hgh am and Tesa pm
unseen423Yah see if that helps, if not, theres plenty of other ways carpal tunnel can come on. Might be worth it to get a consult with an ortho if it doesnt resolve with the lower dose.
unseen423is it GH related carpal tunnel?
