+ 2 Baseline IGF
ad
Hi Everyone,
I've started TRT about a year ago and recently been researching HGH. I'm currently taking 160mg split twice weekly. While researching, I noticed I should first get my baseline IGF prior to starting HGH and that is what I had done. I had some issue getting this test since I'm in a state that has restrictions on buying my own labs but was able to get a work around. I have received my results and I have a baseline of 268ng/ML. I noticed that this is on the higher end of the scale. Whats everyone's thoughts on jumping on HGH?

Let's say you're a good responder to HGH and you get 100ng/ml IGF-1 per iu of HGH. 3iu of HGH will put you at 300ng/ml IGF-1. That's only 32ng/ml above your baseline. If you're not a good responder to HGH, 3iu could possibly make your IGF-1 level lower than your baseline. Although, I have seen poor responders still get great results from HGH. That's a tough call. Lol. What are your goals?
I've started this journey about a year ago of getting back into shape after 15+ years of neglect. I started at 265lbs and now down to 225 and about 25 more to go. Started with cardio and then incorporated weight lifting. Here I had a plan in place, narrowed down my sources, got my baseline and now im not so sure. Lol. Like you said if im a poor responder, id need to take 5-6, possibly more to get above my current baseline. Maybe I need to look into a peptide to incorporate. Im leaning towards something focused on recovery.
If your main focus is losing weight. I would look at a GLP-1 like Retatrutide. I would look into BPC-157 for recovery.
Yea, going to start Triz as my wife has stockpiled it from her prescription and not her not needing higher doseages. She was like why but that when we have what she's not going to use. Im going to look into fhe BPC. Thank you for the info, appreciate it!
HGH is a gamechanger. Only regret you'll have is you didn't start sooner.
That’s a good natural number
