+ 3 Heavy Handed OR Fair COP?? Your Opinion ....
I've just been reading all about this woman called Renee Good being Shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis as she refused to get out of her truck when asked to by ICE officers, then she tried to drive off.
The Videos of it seem quite dubious in terms of whether shooting her through the windscreen was really necessary when I'm sure she could of easily been stopped further down the road considering the amount of agents that were there and vehicles present.
On the one hand I was always raised to respect the Police and you do as instructed by them (especially when they have guns pointed at you!) but on the other hand it seems a bit unnecessary that a woman and mother has lost her life over this.
What's your take on this being weapons owners and routinely seeing Cops it seems shooting first and asking questions later?

I do get the fact that the woman here was being awkward and refusing to comply with agents, but you can clearly tell she isn't intentionally trying to run the guy over - its more a case of him standing near the line of the vehicle and assuming she won't try to drive off. Exactly what i said earlier. Its against policy to stand in front of a running vehicle but yet his arrogance told him "I AM ICE! HEAR ME ROAR! SHE WONT DARE STEP ON THE PEDAL!" To his surprise it happened whether intentional or not and that foolish decision changed his life forever. His decision destroyed his life and her decision to press the gas destroyed her life. Let's leave the whole "is ice doing the right thing or not here" aside. As that seems to be making a lot of people's decisions for them. I've watched both videos from either direction of the car. That woman drove 4-5 hours from another state to intentionally try and interfere with a law enforcement operation. She was asked repeatedly by the cops to move her car as she was illegally blocking the road. When she refused she was told to shut the car off and step out because she was being detained. At that point she was no longer allowed to leave. When she threw it in reverse and started rolling back she got herself lined right up with the cop now in front of her with he tires pointing right at him. She hits the gas to accelerate forward and spins the tires. The cop in front sees what is happening and tried to step to the side and pull his gun. When she does get traction she's still pointed at the cop but is trying to turn to the right to around him but doesn't make it and does clip the cop with her bumper. At which point his gun is out and he fires.
It's unfortunate that there are now several young children who no longer have any parents as I believe the father died already. But that woman intentionally went to go cause trouble where she shouldn't have been and, whether intentionally or not, she struck a cop with her car. Even if she was just pointed at him and accelerated he had every right to stop the immediate threat to his life. Even more so since she did actually use a deadly weapon to strike an officer. I'm not happy with the situation. I wish I didn't happen. But that woman made bad decision after bad decision and in the end it cost her her life. She had so many chances to walk away and she ignored every single one of them. Its a horrible situation. But she's at fault for her own death here.

Blocking traffic is not something ICE can approach a us citizen over by policy they should have had local pd make contact and deal with the traffic infraction. So it's not even grounds to rush her car like that film her plate to harass her and her wife later nothing they did was justified or within policy.

Because all the top results when searching news say Minneapolis, Minnesota: She moved to Minneapolis with her wife and youngest child in 2025 to "make a better life" for themselves. The shooting incident occurred just a few blocks from her home in the Central neighborhood of Minneapolis.

What? I don't think your understand how deadly force is applied. A comment doesn't mean you can use deadly force. Even threatening someone can't always be used to justify shooting someone.
If you break the law your kinda fucked if police have your cornered. You can either escalate the situation by committing another crime by trying to escape or comply and fight it out in court.

I think the police are too heavy handed and too fast to react with deadly force. I can understand in a hostage situation or perp with a gun but an unarmed woman not following orders and driving recklessly doesn’t seem sufficient to shoot her dead. If the cop was trained properly or just simply had a brain he wouldn't have stood infront of a running vehicle with a driver at the wheel who was refusing to get out of a car so if he did get run over it would definitely be part of his fault for being retarded. But anyway from what iv seen the officer got slightly nudged by the car as he was stood near the headlight - seemed to me the driver was tryna get away not trying to use the vehicle to hurt anybody
The body cam footage has been released. She was literally staring right at him when she hit the gas and you can hear the impact when she hits him. Nobody is saying she actually ran him over. But she did clip him. Even if she didn't actually hit him but was still lined up to hit him when she punched it he still had the right to treat her as an imminent threat to his life.

She hit the gas while staring right at him and by him moving she only clipped him. Cops are trained to eliminate deadly threats. They aren't trained to just shoot them in the leg to try and disable them. Yes cops absolutely do get held to a different standard frequently when it comes to shooting people in the line of duty compared to you or I. Whether you or I would be legally able to do so depends on which state you happen to be in. FL would say thanks for removing another retard from our state. None of what you mentioned takes into account that she was already informed that she was being detained and not free to go. It's a shitty situation all around. I'd bet my next months salary the state is going to charge that cop and no matter what evidence is presented he will be found guilty. Search the ring camera angle the car never touched him he lowers his phone in his left hand as he draws with his right hand. Also per the published training protocols for DHS he shouldn't have been walking in front of the car and him doing that doesn't justify the shooting and he loses his legal protection for doing it. He had been there 10 years and was a training officer so there's you problem right there retards teaching other retards to be retarded.
Without knowing the full story or seeing the footage the scenario described doesn’t sound like one that should end with a cop killing her with a gun
