+ 3 Heavy Handed OR Fair COP?? Your Opinion ....
I've just been reading all about this woman called Renee Good being Shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis as she refused to get out of her truck when asked to by ICE officers, then she tried to drive off.
The Videos of it seem quite dubious in terms of whether shooting her through the windscreen was really necessary when I'm sure she could of easily been stopped further down the road considering the amount of agents that were there and vehicles present.
On the one hand I was always raised to respect the Police and you do as instructed by them (especially when they have guns pointed at you!) but on the other hand it seems a bit unnecessary that a woman and mother has lost her life over this.
What's your take on this being weapons owners and routinely seeing Cops it seems shooting first and asking questions later?

I have watched the videos. She was there initially rocking her car back and forth not allowing other vehicles by if she was able to block them. The agents approach her, she continues trying to block movement. Ross rounds the front of her vehicle and she continues to move her vehicle towards him. She had been instructed at least 6 times to exit the vehicle. She gets shot after it appears her vehicle grazed Ross the agent in the front of the car. Seems fair to me because we as citizens should 1.) Do what the police tell you to do, immediately. 2.) Expect nothing less when trying to interfere with lawful federal agents doing their job.
Can you link me a video that shows that all the ones I have seen show her waving them through till they all hope out and escalate a non incident into a use of deadly force that the department heads president and vice president then chose to lie about.
If you should "1) do as the police tell you to immediately" then what's the right to bear arms about? Your supposed to do what you think is right not what someone tells you to do. You can't stop tyranny by doing as your told
But if officer John tells you to exit the vehicle after pulling you over, just do it. You certainly aren't drawing down on him in that situation. Now if you just flipped off your radio and they were talking about China implanting devices in cops around the US, then in that moment definitely get your fingers loose.

I get that feeling. But what I saw was a woman using her car as a weapon. Now I can't say foe sure that she was actually trying to hit him, but she did, and in that situation I do feel he is justified to use his weapon. Now the argument could exist that she wasn't trying to hurt him, but there she was not doing what was ordered of her and continuing to push that vehicle forward, and regardless of training the 2 items immentioned are enough for a professional to treat the situation as hostile. So it's a tough call outside of the situation, but unless someone has been in that moment I really don't think they would understand the fight or flight level emotions.
I see a woman refusing to do what was ordered of her by someone whom she has learned since childhood is someone we as citizens listen to, and then to top that off she had a weapon. A vehicle is a weapon in that situation and she brought it to that street to use it for not it's intended purpose.

If she reversed the vehicle and turned the wheels toward him then ploughed forward purposely using her vehicle as a ram I would make the argument for shooting her but it wasn't anything like that
