+ 4 Meal Prep: Jan 5th-8th
Bumped my fat up this week a little, feeling little depressed lol. Still, exciting week ahead. Shout out to @BillyBear for this week's snack option!
0400 - Wake-up and crush the healthy (ish) version of our normal Christmas treat, and a yogurt. Normally this is made with pork sausage, whole stick of butter, and slapped on English muffins then baked. This week I'm using Turkey Sausage, no English muffins (sadly), and minimal butter. Heat it up slightly, and crush!
0800 - Shake #1
1100 - Crockpot'd a big chuck shoulder roast for 8 hours. Fat was trimmed off, so it's super meaty. Don't honestly know if I trust the Kcal to Protein on this one, but regardless I'm up plenty on my prep. Shredded, and tossed with red sauce, layered over couscous! (Honestly have never had couscous before, but didn't wanna make rice lol).
1500 - BillyBear's Crab Sticks! Last week, @BillyBear shared on my weekly meal prep forum, what he used the Pilsbury dough for. Had to try em this week! Used Cajun Two Step, over Old Bay. House smells amazing, and these are awesome!
1600 - Shake #2
Dinner - Regular portion of whatever the family makes. Already looking like lots of chicken and breakfast nights.
Calories - ~2464kcal
Protein - ~322g
Fat - ~80g
Carbs - ~105g
Just missing caffeine! Will most likely be a Bloom energy drink on the way to the gym in the morning, and an Espresso from home on my way to the office.

I make a morning shake with oatmeal, protein powder, peanut butter, frozen bananas and blueberries with whole milk. Turns out being around 1300cals. I drink that after the gym every morning. Then it’s 2 meals for the work day plus peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in between. Chicken Alfredo tomorrow, those hamburger bowls the next couple days, then I’m not sure from there. Probably chicken. I just got back in town last night so I’m taking dinner left overs. I still need to post a whole days worth of pictures. I’ll try to take them tomorrow. You killed it this week though brother. Everything looks great!

I almost did the hamburger bowls this week!! I need to get them done, they sound so damn good man. I was thinking about chopping up some bacon and mixing it with the ground turkey, for the hamburger bowls. Little extra fat, but would be delicious.

Wifey snagged me these as well. Never had them, but they sounds interesting. It says to microwave them for ten seconds lol. Has anyone else ever tried them? Figure my gym bro and I will snack on this after the workout tomorrow to come to a verdict.

Legendary makes a bunch of things, including their version of pop tarts. Never had the donuts but the pop tarts were decent.
Interesting. I used to love pop tarts when I was young. I haven't tried any protein bars or anything in a long time, used to be so bad lol.

Oh, the couscous sounds good and is fun change from rice.
Admittedly was just lazy this week, but honestly it tasted great with it from a quick snack I had. Be curious how much it soaks up the flavor after it sits overnight.
