How was it living there?
Well I'm living in the Philippines currently and compared to Thailand it's very different and both have pros and cons. Thai and Filipino people are very giving and generous, both countries have amazing weather, communities and tropical islands. I would say the infrastructure is better in Thailand but everything is much cheaper in the Philippines you can see why so many foreigners come here to retire.

Your right it's not how it used to be, if you live away from tourist areas like Phuket, Bangkok, Koh Samui, Pattaya it's expensive, away from these places much cheaper.
In all though Phillipines is incredibly cheap.

Both places have tons of gyms, and a very a big work out community , no issues getting supplements or protein powders either, both countries import alot of American brands too.
