+ 5 6 Month TRT Frequency/Dosing Experiment is Complete
EDIT: Adding an update here. Down in my report I mentioned that my hemtocrit had started to spike after switching to daily test injections. But after further investigation along with my doc, we discovered that my cpap mask (at the time) wasnt fitting right and I was having multiple breathing events per hour, most definitely pushing my hematocrit. I switched to an intranasal device and hct has been declining since. Currently 49 as of 10/6/2026. So my hypothesis that daily injections pushed my hct higher seems to be wrong. It just so happened that the hct rise was at the same time I went to daily pins, but not necessarily the cause.
Had my labs drawn 10 days ago, Quest took their sweet ass time for some reason, but finally got the results.
Late last year I got some bunk Test C and by January was feeling completely run down. Couldnt figure it out (dumb) until I went in for labs in February. After confirming my crashed test levels, I found this site and sourced some Test E. SInce I was back to baseline, I took it as an opportunity to experiment with different dose and frequency. These are the results after 6 moths of testing. Ill just list out the timeline for ease of reading.
Feb 05 2026: T-311 Free T-52 E2-43
-Jumped on Test E 100mg/week, split Tuesday evening and Saturday morning
Mar 24 2026: T-718 Free T-161 E2-82
-At this point switched to daily injections totaling 105mg/week, small injection every morning before breakfast
Jun 10 2026: T-1140 Free T-253 E2-85
-I was going to end it here, but that level is too high for TRT. I decided to half the dose, rather than take incremental steps, for sake of time. 52.5mg/week daily AM
Aug 03 2026: T-778 Free-168 E2-52
Interesting that half the total weekly dose (52.5mg) using daily injections, gave me higher levels than my previous weekly (100mg) dose pinning 2x a week. Now, I am aware that my 718 number from March was in a trough, I had blood drawn on a tuesday morning without my usual injection, so it is very plausible that peaks were closer to the 1100 number I saw with daily microdosing 105mg a week. Thats just not something I thought of ahead of time.
Other markers:
Lipids and triglycerides are interesting over the course of this 6 months. Is it related to the microsdosing? I dont know. My diet was admittedly not completely locked in. LDL down, HDL up, total higher.
Chol: 186 -> 191
LDL: 123 -> 121
HDL: 47 -> 50
Trig: 73 ->84
Hematocrit has always been a struggle for me. At baseline, it was at 48.6, after injecting plain oil for 2 months. In March, it was already up to 51.5. In June I had a scare (made a post about this) as HCT had spiked to 60. As of this last test, its back down to 55. My hypothesis is that since im already predisposed to high HCT, those daily injections, even though small, were enough to stimulate RBC production every single day, and red blood cells dont clear very quickly. My doctor is aware of all this and working with me. This statistic is important to note though, because many anecdotes you read about daily injections claim that blood markers improve across the board. But if you have an underlying issue it isnt always the case.
I didnt have them tested back in February, but Aug 3rd labs show Cystatin-C (0.91), eFGR (93), GGT (51), and hsCRP (1.1) all in good standing. So liver and kidneys are healthy, but gotta deal with the lipids and hemtocrit, but thats not the point of this post.
Hope yall find this helpful. And remember, there is a difference between TRT and a small cycle. If you are on TRT, dose for it. 7-800 is a nice sweet spot for me, may vary for everyone.

Great post! What is your morning routine before going in for labs? Are you drinking any water?
Every day is the same, labs or no labs. Down 20oz of water immediately upon waking. Then keep sipping until I have breakfast, or head to the lab fasted. I dont drink extra water on lab days, that kinda defeats the purpose of accuracy. I drink 1.5 gallons every day, track it just like I do my food.
Sounds like you and I are in the same boat, never been up to 60 before though! Even when I was younger and not using anything I would be up to 51 at times. Funny enough test hasn’t brought me above my baseline at all, labs a few weeks ago came back @ 46.
Honestly after going through this whole hct thing, I think mines driven by the sleep apnea more than anything else. I have a 21" neck, ive always snored. Used a cpap for a few years already, but something changed early this year. Maybe it gets worse with age, I really dont know. But the new mask has definitely made a huge impact
I have heard they’re a game changer. My dad always used one when I was a kid but that thing was like wearing a scuba mask and was so loud. I’m assuming they’re much better now
Idk if this helps but once I got my E2 between 15-25 (my sweet spot) my hematocrit stabilized around 49. I’m a high aromatizer so I have to take an AI even on my trt dose. I also get 15,000 steps a day in even on days I don’t lift weights
Great Post Mate!!! Never saw this at the time you put it up
Thanks bro. I had a long health phase so thought why not use the time for a real world experiment.
All markers are finally in a good spot, and today I pinned day 1 of my cycle.
Any idea where your HCT is at now?
105mg/week pinning daily for myself as well had me at 53 (which is where I’m usually at on a damn cycle). Recently switched back to bi-weekly pinning and will check bloodwork in a couple months. I know everyone raves for daily pinning, but I came to a similar conclusion that being genetically predisposed and daily pinning may have actually increased RBC production.
As of last week, Im finally down below 50 again. Actually just pinned Day 1 today of my first cycle in a LONG time.
I need to add an edit to the post; even though the hct spike I had was right around the time I switched to daily injections, my team and I discovered that my CPAP mask at the time wasnt fitting exactly right. All the reports on my machine said I was sleeping good, but a closer analysis revealed that I was having multiple breathing events per hour. Switched to and intranasal device and my hct has been declining ever since. If you havent had a sleep study done and your hct is hard to control, talk to your doc about it
Appreciate it! I don’t think I have any sleep issues, but it is one of the only stone I haven’t turned over. Something to consider for sure.
Was all this done out of the exact same vial? Not tapping a new vial at any point?
2 vials, but same source same batch
Got you. Thanks for the information. I am an odd one with my experience with moving my shots from MWF to ED injections. I am new to all this. 54yo 6'0" 174lbs. I started with 210mg Test a week MWF, bloods drawn Monday morning before injection. Bloodwork came back: Total Testosterone 1973, Free Testosterone 375.6, Ultrasensitive Estradiol 80, SHBG 54. Then switched to ED injections, blood drawn Monday morning before injection. 7 week bloods came back: Total Testosterone 1949, Free Testosterone 332.7, Ultrasensitive Estradiol 91, SHBG 40. No AI was needed, no symptoms from E2. Hematocrit did shoot up to 52 but all other bloods were still in range. I did drink 60+oz of water the morning before shot, but still might have been the issue? Dropped dose down now to 105mg weekly, next Bloods will be done beginning of Nov. If all is good I'll look at doing something more than 105mg. Feel like crap since dropping it down.
Edit: lol, like the shirt.
Do you still do IM injections?
Absolutely
Great info bro.
I also am predisposed to high RBC. You ever tried therapeutic phlebotomy? I have a script and have to go last friday of every month to give whole blood. It took about 8 months to get from 55 down to where I've been holding steady around 46-47 on or off cycle (always cruise 160mg minimum tho)
Something to look into if you haven't already bro.
I started them up monthly again on July 1st. It was working for me last year, then the doc wanted to stop because he found some study that its not the best for secondary poly, can actually cause your body to panic produce RBCs on the rebound. You can somewhat mitigate that by doing smaller donations.
Its only a bandaid though, I want to find the root. Its obvious the test injections have an effect, but its still high without the AAS
Great write up! I’ve seen in my own bloodwork, and with a client of mine that daily injections actually lower hct. But as sillygoose said, hct is primarily a hydration problem.
That is honestly one of the main reasons I tried all this. Was really hoping to see that hematocrit drop. Was shocking and a bit scary seeing that 60! Trending back down now though, so we'll see
Couple bp meds that tend to lower hematocrit as well you should look into.
Got some on Telmi on the way. We'll see
on hematocrit i don’t know anything about your training or hydration, but it might also be worth keeping an eye on the basics like staying well hydrated, getting some regular cardio, and not being completely sedentary throughout the day.
wasn’t a drastic change for me, but these things seemed to help slightly, so i’ve just made them part of my daily routine
Yeah man, its always been a problem. Even when I was younger and active duty, high 40s. Been going over things with my doc the past 18 months or so now trying to figure it all out. I use a CPAP. Im at nearly 2 gallons of water a day, and get my zone 2 cardio in a few days a week. After this last result, I should just suck it up and cardio every day. See if it moves the needle.
