10 years + of juicing.. sides effects, hospital visits and almost loosing an arm!!!
hey iron brothers, I finally became an old school OG. lifting has been my life for over 20 years. After 10+ of juicing I've had some serious experience with the nectar of the gods. you can really build an amazing physique that will be beyond yours dreams with patience and major risks. The first major issue I had, was also the worse. I used to pin my biceps because I like the extra pain during a super set on them. Of course, like an idiot it got infected. I didn't know what to do and I started getting fevers. I just kept taking pain meds for the pain and fever hoping it would go away. on day 4, which was mothers day I was admitted to the hospital. The doctors sent me right into the operating room they had to cut my arm open without anesthesia and drained half a gallon of puss. God was on my side that day. the second time I got an infection, it was on my shoulder I've pictures on my profile, gruesome! how about you brothers lets hear about some stories of juicing gone wrong lol

I have something that’s started happening recently to me, that’s not the same as this at all but does have to do with injections.
So idk if anyone has ever felt this feeling but I think it’s from nicking a blood vessel or artery or something. But I feel like a burning pins and needles type thing around my face, nose and tongue and my blood pressure goes up and sometimes sneeze. It feels like I snorted a line of black pepper. Also just this kinda of overall feeling like something is off, like my balance is off and like hot and dizzy for like ten seconds and then it all goes away.
Recently it seems to happen every single time I go in my glutes, I get the hot weak feeling and no balance for a few seconds . Not all the face black pepper stuff, but the balance weird feeling. It I don’t get it when I go other places and I don’t get all the symptoms that I get if I nicked something. Does this happen to anyone else? Could the whole area just be kinda used up, and not good for injections anymore?
I often get this feeling when its either trenbolone or something containing guaiacol - if I don't get the throat burn then I get what you are talking about where it seems to go up your nose, burns your scalp and face and sometimes you can feel it in your tongue. Its without doubt a load of solution going into the bloodstream somehow, either you are sat in a vein (you will feel a single hard puncture going through the wall) or you have been fully through a vein and out of the other side and there is a pooling of blood. Your solution has then mixed with that blood and circulated etc. Its basically it going up into your head!! Then yes you feel dizzy, nauseous for 10 mins afterwards. I think other carriers can do this also - maybe EO?
I know I’m not fully ina vein, I always aspirate to check and I know that puncture feeling you’re talking about. But it’s EVERY SINGLE TIME now but only in glutes and it’s just plain old test e/ mast p no EO or Guiacol just MCt Ba and BB. I feel like maybe I’ve used the area so much that it’s just like a whole mess of nerves and vessels and shit idk? Also the same gear is fine in my delts
Ya turned your Butt cheeks into Mush Bro and now its just a direct Bloodstream injection site!!! Lol
Lmao I know it sounds dumb as hell, but that’s what it feels like man. It’s not a huge deal now but it’s gunna suck when I’m back on a big cycle and doing 2 or 3cc shots, the glutes are perfect for those
The side of the legs in the hams and quads do well with 3ml, I use to do the Teardrop until I kept hitting nerves in there and my leg would kick out with the needle stuck in it!
You crazy for that! I still have never touched the quads. I tried some hyaluronic acid in the calf once but that was huge mistake
Buddy ya NEVER go near the calves, some people can but it ain't worth the risk for 4 days of sheer hell. Get the quads use to it as it open up such huge areas for you to be able to use, begin with Test E shots of small volume and just get use to it. If its good quality oil you will be fine, it was the crap stuff that gave me issues and limping generally.
Ya i always hear bad things about quads, but I think a lot of it was during the early days of UGLs and a lot of bathtub gear. For the most part I think the majority of stuff we get on here is pretty high quality
My VERY FIRST pin.
After a year of TRT decided to go extra to see if I could get back to my old self at age 46. I ordered from the most popular/expensive site promoted on another forum. As soon as the shipment came I was so excited and promptly went into the bathroom for my first ever pin. Was very sanitary, took all precautions. 1ml into the delt muscle. Within 3 hours my arm was on fire and blood red. Frantically I spent hours on the internet trying to figure out what went wrong on Google. I chalked it up to “virgin muscle” which I read about and used a heating pad for 3 days but it kept getting worse and I could barely move my arm. That weekend I went home for Thanksgiving and told my relative who is a doctor that I had gotten a B12 shot from my nurse practitioner and something seemed off. He took a look at it and was like “crap that is cellulitis.” So he gave me a 10 day super strong prescription and said it should be better after a few days so I didn’t need the whole 10 pills. Luckily it did clear up fast….so I kept the other pills for future emergencies.
After ordering from a top source here, I tried again a month later and have never had an issue with any of the two sources I’ve used here. After about a year, since I still had 4 vials of the other expensive stuff, I tried it again to see if it was “virgin muscle.” Exact same thing!! Pain and redness, so immediately started the pills again and sadly had to toss that expensive crap. I’ll never use that brand or source again. If fact I feel like that site is a total joke now just to steer people to that source and haven’t returned. Lesson learned.
Oh right! Those guys on the other site saying every top site over this way is “fake , selective scammer, I always trust my gear from N*Ge.
“I’d never trust them, I always use “Do******Supp** and trust no other “
I’m loyal to this site and this site only, I’m sure there is something good out there, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it..
Did they ever tell you why the infection occurred? Does it have to do with air getting into a vial. Off in concentrations of BA? Just curious..
No, I believe personally that the gear was tainted since it happened twice a year apart.
My family member who is the doctor acted like it was an issue with the injection not being clean and told me to stop going to nurse practitioners because they weren’t real doctors lol. But since I lied about that and injected myself, I knew that wasn’t the case.
By the way, I know what site you’re talking about but never tried them. The site I was referring to pretends to have a voting system but the top sources never ever change.
M*****G****
Thank you for the clarification, don’t sure why this subject is considered taboo when nearly all of us are shoving needles inside our muscles..
The equivalent.. — a heroin addict snorting pure heroin—- judging a person who IV uses fentanyl..
No judgement over here, just be careful and be sure to always was the hands XD
I wonder why nobodies talking about wiping the top of your vial/rubber stopper prior to drawing back.
Washing of the hands is a given , my inject spot sure , but many a times I don’t wipe the vials stopper off.
I feel like @anvil is right in that this err’s too close on the side of addiction and “War Stories.”
No disrespect man, it’s just a hard topic that’s directly adjacent to addiction for almost everyone who’s gone through it in my experience (of talking about infections) or is going through it with friends/family right now.
71% for skin applications, 91% for Flash sterilization on tools and inj ports. Dip in slightly heated 99% for needle tips if your OCD like me. Try your best to use fiberless paper towels or Alcohol pads.
The second it begins feeling warm, is warm, and in discomfort that makes you question if this is normal” your body has lost the fight against dealing with the infection on its own. Depending on if it’s Cellulitis or Staph, it’s never smart to drain your own wound but if needed always use a syringe to withdraw fluid first to release pressure before making the incision.
anvilYeah I just feel like there should be a more of how we can avoid this stuff rather than discuss what is the worst that has happened to us. I know you have like a clean room you use or something like that @CouricMass ? I feel that's an example of how sterile we should try to be.
Yes sir, a a station with a 2x4’ TerraUniversal Smart FFU. It’s overkill but the room is fully sanitary within 2:30 minutes with a layer of Iso around the table I’m using and with the face cleaned with a wide mouth air pump to blow edit: contamination* off the grill in front of a HEPA filter.
The UVC is overkill but the add on control system to be able to close the door and turn on a “self cleaning” mode and be able to walk into a sterile room in ~3 minutes is great* to have.
I can post up the designs for a homemade HEPA filter that’s no bigger than a 1’x1’ flat fan for our purposes, all in all from Home Depot it’s $48 for something you can transfer samples onto Agar plates without contamination so a pretty good deal in my eyes lol.
Woahhh, you could perform surgeries over there!
When we had Terra come in and install the intake and exhaust air vents along with the Smart Controller it was reading in the 680-750 range which is…not surgery but like birth for sure…hmmmm you have me wanting to test some limits here…gotta go round up some test subjects brb.
I saw a guy on Reddit saying he wanted to do his own gyno removal at home. He wasn’t worried about sterilization or anything he was just gunna use some numbing cream and a razor or something idk. But I’m sure you could find some clowns on Reddit that want free gyno removal!!
Oh my god! Andddd Edit; just like that were back on topic lol.
Lmao sorry I ruined the whole “let’s talk bout being safer” thing
I was gonna say, I rolled the mouse back to the top and was like uhhhh, yeaahhhh, maybe I shouldn’t go look for “test subjects” HAHAHA.
anvilI appreciate your dedication to the craft. I am not that diligent. Just have the 400 count boxes of sterile wipes that have served me well from amazon. I think people should take note of this, because I doubt you will ever have an issue!
I struggled with this one, I don’t know if it’s a craft or uncontrollable obsession to be “clean.”
Either way, it’s a life saver to have. Shit for our purposes an ACInfinity 8” fan with a Vivo Circular filter (HEPA 99.6 ULPA 99.93) with some 8” rubber stoppers to hold the seal from fan to filter and just stick it in the center of a room on a stool clean-head pointing towards your body, intake facing towards a window.
$a little more expensive than the flat fan on Amazon shipped without prime but guaranteed Efficiency, we have the same except with some Ghetto-Tek hinges thrown onto the frame and stretched to fit an industrial fan with a 14” intake on the back with semi-uniform airflow, good enough for our pusposes that call for a ultra clean environment.
Good thing it ended this way. It would be helpful if you gave a couple of tips to beginners to warn them against making the same mistakes you did. I believe all these issues have a cause. What do you think led to such inflammation in your case?
What lead to this infection? What was the hygiene habits when pinning?
UUfffff blimey - I'm not sure I want to see all this Lol
I’m curious to see the pictures. I had a very similar experience on my arm, but not from steroids. It was during my using days and I just started using needles, I didn’t know how to hit veins because my veins have always been horrible, and I was skin popping for the most part. I ended up with an abscess on my arm, didn’t know what it was and thought it’d go away. By the time I finally went to the hospital, I couldn’t even extend my arm fully straight because my muscles were so stiff. I didn’t move my arm for almost a month because of the pain of moving (the abscess was right at my inner elbow). They drained the abscess in the emergency room which was absolutely terrible, same as you they couldn’t really give me anything because of my drug usage. I was then admitted to the hospital, had to have surgery on my arm. They ended up cutting the entire infection out of my arm, and put a vacuum on my arm. I was in the hospital for a week. The hole they cut on my arm, I could’ve fit a golf ball inside. I almost threw up when they took the vacuum off because I had no idea they cut that much out.
I was told if I waited much longer, I would’ve lost my arm. The infection already turned to a staph infection and would’ve just kept getting worse. I wish I had the pictures but they got lost somewhere in my files, this was back in 2008 before smart phones and the cloud. It left a nice scar though.
anvilLet's stay safe and use the information we learn in this forum to decrease risks and speak about risk mitigation. Been at this much longer than that and I have 0 stories.
This is why the alcohol swab is your best friend and most of all the source is of the utmost importance.
Pack of alcohol wipes are pretty cheap also
