+ 5 Why did you start working out?
ad
I feel like a lot of people I talk to say they find it hard to hit the gym or stay consistent. What drives you to work out?
Personally I got to the point where I was just like this isn’t who I am. This isn’t the body I should or want to have.
I’ve never found it hard to go to the gym. Some days are definitely less driven than others, but I don’t ever want to go back to being weak and unfit.
What about you?

First ever time I lifted a plastic encased concrete weight when I was about 10 was because I wanted to look like Arnie who was my favourite Film star as a kid. Then I got back into it around 15 as I was getting bullied at school. Took it more seriously at 18 when I realised you could be average looking facially - but if you had a good body you could go into a nightclub and pull virtually any bird you wanted LMAO. Unfortunately I kinda jacked it in at 25 when I thought a career in alcoholism would prove more productive!! LMFAO Got back into it a few months before I gave up my addiction and since then it has become my sanity, my way of life, the backbone of what generally makes me happy everyday.
There is just something about lifting weights (with or without gear) that makes me feel more happy than any woman, any amount of money or any car ever has done. You can have all those things but without the feel good of the weights underneath it all then it all means nothing.
Totally agree with this. Drugs and alcohol don’t come close. Fleeting feelings I don’t care about in the future. I look back and remember how amazing it feels to hit a PR and it’s a much better memory than any time I felt good on a drug.
That’s it, the Feds are into us, hacked our devices. Time to hightail it to Tijuana…
