So the Secret service has rushed Former President Trump off of stage at his rally after an active shooter situation. I'm just now seeing the news on it and it does look like he's bleeding from the face or ear. Now I'm no Trump or Biden guy but this is 100% wrong plain and simple. I've said before, after he gets elected there would be problems but I didn't expect this at all. Like I said it's wrong for anyone to suggest assignation of Biden or Trump. But not sure why this surprises me because there has been soo much damn hatred from both sides which has been made obvious, hell a blind man can see that. Anyways no karma needed just comment if you feel need to or don't comment. We're living in horrible times.

We could learn from Genghis Khan if we want to go that route… I’m not religious but there’s no denying those principles if followed daily are proven to lead to a more fulfilling life.

What is crazy to me is that we've always had two sides of the aisle, always had people disagreeing on politics, totally normal. He's still a human being whether you agree with his politics or not. When has it ever been ok to publicly say "I think this person should get murdered because I don't like his politics"? What the fuck? Remember when Obama was elected and the people that said they were going to assassinate him because they didn't want a black president? Right or left, that is out of line. And when it was someone else, anyone else, they took it seriously. Now we have whole groups of people calling for assassination of a PERSON. 1st amendment, sure. but show some fucking respect for humanity.

Side note, and I realize this is irrelevant, but JD Vance's movie "Hillbilly Elegy" is horrible. They took a bunch of A-list actors (Glen Close is amazing in the movie) and added whoeverthefuck played JD Vance who was awful. I was embarrassed watching it. Has nothing to do with politics but please tell me JD was played by his nephew or some shit. It ruined the movie which might have otherwise been alright. It definitely didn't do anything to help his image, that movie. It seemed like a cheap pump to validate his working class pedigree.

Basically she was annointed. I'll say this, the race will be a bit tighter now according to those polls. I don't think that would've been the case with Biden. I wasn't a fan of all 3 to be honest.

I do think Trump is a hellava entertainer but thing is and it's well documented, he doesn't listen to his advisors when they have his best interest at hand. This is fact that can be verified. Even @Pumped mentioned that earlier. Kings even listen to their council so what's his excuse for not listening? Too much pride I can only imagine. Any successful king, military leader, President etc has always listened to advisors or council. Tell you what his defensiveness will be his downfall and I'm not for either candidate. I'll be honest, I didn't expect polls to rise this much for Harris. But like you said Trump is definitely doing her a big favor. Let me translate trump linguistics. He said BOTH medals are EQUAL, one is for the military, the other for civilians. It's better in the sense that you don't have to put your life on the line to receive the Civilian "medal of honor". "She get's it (the medal) and she's healthy (not dead or shot up- so that's better)" (your snippet implies she understands the dichotomy)
Granted, he was ineloquent, as we all can be without a script or teleprompter. And a transcript can look much worse without context (body language, voice inflection) Snippets taken out of contexts such as yours is what causes the ferment around trump. He most certainly didn't imply the Medal of freedom was Better than the medal of honor. Nor that Miriam made a bigger sacrifice or risked the same as military counterparts.

But from there I started framing the question similarly to other friends of mine and my to my disappointment I received a very similar answer from all but a couple of them.
