+ 3 Trump verdict
So I remain an Independent but I saw that poll on Trump's conviction. Fact is after that conviction his donors contributed 40 million to his campaign. On top of it all, this conviction doesn't disqualify him from running for or winning the Presidency according to the Constitution. Fact is all charges should of been brought up long ago, why now? So with that said, I do think he will win the election, I admit I won't be voting for he or Biden for damn sure! I'm sitting here watching Piers Morgan and one of his guest was well known respected pollster and consultant Frank Lundz. What Frank said was basically 100% true and that was 77% of Americans DO NOT want Trump or Biden as President of the United States and I'm part of that 77% of Americans. I think America is divided and we have definitely lost our way. It's gotten so bad that we try to defend something that can't be defended and that's the actions of Trump or Biden. Can't defend the Capitol riots which I watched live on TV but somehow that's ignored lol. Riots on the left can't be defended either. Alot of brain washing and or denial happening, there's no other way to explain it from what I see. Two of my good friends are Republican and they agree with me like alot of others. Unfortunate times for damn sure.

I just want to be able to go back to being able to not just survive on but actually live a comfortable life on working just 40 hours/week. Between my full time job and side gigs i work 70+ hours/week. Even then i'm not as comfortable as i was 5-6 years ago working just my full time job and nothing else.

I blame Biden for right now, I don't blame Trump. Yes Trump did better than Biden but so have other Republican and Democratic Presidents of the past. Folks are struggling right now and he's the President. Trump has a business mind but the guy isn't for me. He will have a hell of a time turning this mess around and hopefully he can and I wish him best of luck doing so.
I'm getting pretty worn out working 7 days a week. I have been for about a little over a year now. I have taken the occasional afternoon or even a full day off from the side gigs to do something like head into the city for a day or go to a concert here and there. Between working out 6 days a week, walking the dog for a minimum of 1 hour a day, food prep and then all the actual work I'm just getting run down. But what other choice is there but to do whatever you need to do to get by?
I can't even imagine having to do this sorta shit before I got on trt. There's no way id have been able to keep this up for as long as I have without that.

You do what you have to. It's not like there isn't anything positive in my life. I just wish i could find a way to spend more time enjoying those instead of working to survive all the time.

Sadly, I think those days are gone regardless who’s in office. The political greed and spending machine that our government has turned into has fucked us all. I don’t think we’ll ever see the day again where you have one person working with a stay at home parent and several kids. Only way to live comfortably for the “9 to 5” Americans is both parents working and having one kid max.
Doesn’t help that the younger generation believes they deserve $20+ an hour working at McDonalds. The insane sense of entitlement growing in our culture is definitely largely to blame for where we are now and where we are heading in the future

Yea the BATFE did some unconstitutional and unlawful shit under Trump’s watch/tenure. He said he was pro gun to gain votes but actually didn’t do anything to amount to a net positive for law abiding gun owners. I personally was fucked. Bought something legally, registered it as an SBR legally, then atf decided to pass a rule stating said firearm was now classified as a machine gun. Therefore, I either had to destroy it or turn it in to ATF to be destroyed. No giving me my money back for the firearm (~$3500) nor refunding my $200 tax stamp to have it registered as an SBR. Needless to say I “lost” this firearm in a terrible boating accident. But that is not the only BS “rule” passed by the ATF under Trump’s administration. All of which, except this goddamn machine gun one, have been overturned by the Supreme Court.
And with all that being said, the Biden administration is still 10x worse for law abiding gun owners….and that’s just fucking sad.
Won’t get in to the money part because there’s no point in saying the sky is blue. We all fucking know which administration amounted to more discretionary income in our pockets.

I prefer RFK over these circus clowns but No Independent will win and yes they do get support but that support currently isn't high enough to win the election. Independents can decide election results and swing states. But I can't see Biden winning come November. The country is tired of both clowns as I see it. The real problem will be having a President being a convicted Felon which is unheard of. Gonna get nasty.
It is funny they never vote the independent in. Thr country is pretty much divided even between democrat and Republican and they hardly change their minds so the campaigns and debates are really targeting the independent voters. But a lot of democratic black and latino votes have switched over so its really depending on every single vote in November.

It was over when Citizens United got through the Supreme Court. Unlimited special interest money in politics means that the ultra rich own the country. Capitalism has reverted back into feudalism but without "nobles and kings", now it's CEOs and Senators. Both Trump and Biden are owned by dark money donors, neither give a shit about working class people.

I don’t carry a personal attachment to what they say, what the media portrays or the way my peers view them. The one and only thing I care about is how it directly affects my life as a husband, father and provider for my family. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the 4 years Trump was in office, every aspect of life was better for the things I care about. I don’t trust elections. I saw enough last time, especially in the area where I live, that makes me believe honesty and integrity in the process is nonexistent, and if it ever was. The vast majority of ppl don’t give a shit who is in office, as long as the side they align with is perceived to be in control.
